The house was perfect. Plenty of space for the 5 of us! Kitchen was fully stocked, plenty of towels and extra linens. House was in a great location within a quiet neighborhood. The address is a little tricky, the gps took us to the wrong house on the first try and I panicked just a little. We had a bear in the backyard on the first day so that was awesome!

This home was a wonderful retreat for a group of 8 visiting Ourey to ride dual-sport motorcycles. The common area served as a nice place to gather at the end of the day, and the bedrooms/baths provided a comfortable rest. The house was clean and inviting. Being that we all traveled across the country to be there, I appreciated that bath towels, extra bedding, laundry detergent, dishwasher pods and even beach towels for visiting the hot springs were readily available.

Everything was great! The two bedroom suits with bathrooms was excellent for the families with little ones. And the other bedrooms were comfortable for the others. The only thing we wished for was a microwave.

Clean, easy. Love the neighbor’s dog Gunner! We ended up not bringing our dog though. One more box of tissues would have been great….. Tons of allergy activity, probably because of all the dust outside. Great house, nice decor. The only thing is that it was so hot when we arrived at8pm! I know that windows open are the way to cool it down, but the first night it was so hot that we couldn’t sleep upstairs. Later days windows open all day made the difference!r

Cousins mountain retreat

Very impressed with the house and property management. Furniture is in need of upgrade including dining room table and beds. We had a hard time using the oven but appreciated the response we received from management each time we reached out. Give management kudos!

Perfect location

We loved the proximity to hiking trails, multiple waterfalls, the river walk, the hot springs, downtown with it's cute shops and restaurants!!The house was spacious and beautiful. The backyard was amazing with a cinnamon brown bear trotting by one day, and deer hanging out routinely. Great home. Great town!

Fall foliage trip

Great trip, great house, easy to rent and we had no problems. I’d clarify how to identify dish soap and not let it be in a mystery box that’s on the kitchen shelf that looks like decor, and I’d have a portable fan for each room for when it’s unseasonably warm outside. Minor suggestions because overall it was a great home !

Beautiful Location

We had a wonderful time jeeping in Ouray. The house was as represented. We parked our trailers at the RV parking in town and had room for our 3 jeeps and 2 trucks in the driveway. The garage held 1 vehicle. The road to the house is very steep so be prepared for that. The house was well-equipped and worked for our 3 adult couples. VRC was very responsive to a couple of little things we needed to contact them about. The cleanliness of the house was ok, but some deeper cleaning is needed. There are cobwebs in corners, dust on kitchen light fixtures and lots of burned out lightbulbs, and kitchen cupboards and drawers could use a good cleaning. Other than that the house was great.

Great Ouray Stay

The house was everything that the listing said. Very clean and was great for our family vacation in Ouray. Driveway was large enough to fit our OHV trailer and rental car. Will definitely try to stay here again next time we are in Ouray.

Originally from Ouray, family from 3 states gathered at this lovely property. Very private backyard and friendly neighborhood. Easy walk to downtown Ouray. The house was well maintained, clean, and stocked with plenty of supplies.

Beautiful location close to Ouray

We had an awesome time at this great property. Really the only issue we had was the steep, incline and regress of the road in an out. This would not be an issue in the summer, but in spring and winter with snow on the ground it can be a bit hairy. I highly recommend this place at any time of the year. As long as you have a vehicle that can make it to the entrance easily. If you don’t go in the summer I’d like to thank the property managers for wonderful stay and an easy process.
