The location is excellent for travelers - across the street, then five minutes walk to the Dontonbori area. A group of four we booked two rooms. Unfortunately the hotel is very dark and will absolutely ruin your vacation mood. The room was clean but so dark that you barely see yourself in the mirrors. The breakfast buffet items were not refreshed as the morning progressed. Asking for minimal items was met with a firm “NO WE CANNOT.” Staff were not accommodating of ANYTHING asked for. The washing machine/dryer combo was a thoughtful addition to our room type but each cycle took 4.5 hours to complete. Your base hotel makes a difference in your overall experience in a city. After the first night we wanted out of Osaka. Mainly because of Mercure Tokyu Stay Namba.

Enjoyed our stay here. Traveled with my son, and we enjoyed the twin bed room with laundry. Everything was clean and enjoyed the water/tea in the room. We had no complaints and the area was walkable to the main areas. Day tour was able to pick us up from the hotel easily.
