We checked in on Dec.29 and reported our AC didn’t work. Then there was a cold snap and the heater didn’t work. It took them four days to fix it. In the meantime we tried to be patient because of the holiday and we asked for extra blankets and/or a space heater because the condo temp was 57. There was nothing done. We finally contacted VRBO, and on day four at 10pm they brought blankets and fixed the furnace. The handles fell off the fridge long ago, and their remedy is magnetic pulls that don’t work. There were two lamps broken with exposed wires. They fixed one and just took out the other without replacing it. The ice maker in the fridge doesn’t work, so we had to buy ice cube trays. There are tvs with no cable, so if you want to watch the tv, you have to login to your own streaming account. The main room tv has significant delays….I’m assuming because of the WiFi lacking. The dryer handle is broken so the door can’t be opened without a tool. You cannot call the owner even though they give you a telephone number. You get a hold of an AI answering service and leave a message. You can message them through VRBO with no resolution, or a VERY delayed resolution. Calling VRBO and complaining will result in the owner threatening to report you to VRBO and that “type of conduct can result in penalties on VRBO’s platform.” It is also unclean.
