We had a great 21 day stay at this property. Check in and check out was easy. The property manager, Stewart, was outstanding and very responsive. The property was well kept and had a new Keurig coffee maker and all cooking utensils. The house was big with six bedrooms and a nice extra sitting room upstairs, and a game room in the garage. We spent a lot of time in the heated pool and spa with a nice view of a large pond. This property is in a gated community and there is also a resort area with a large pool, tiki bar, spa, mini-golf, gym, game room just a short walk from the home which is available to guests. I would definitely stay at this property again.

Needs improvement

The property is a good size and a lovely location. The pool looks out over a lake with amazing sunsets. The area is quiet and peaceful. We are a very respectful family of 8 adults who were excited to be on a holiday of a lifetime and staying 19 nights. Unfortunately the property needs improvement. The carpets throughout are dirty and stained in places. The sun beds in the pool area all had broken slats and the cushions were old. There was a nice poolside sofa which was in good condition however the cushions were dirty and stained. We would not have furniture in that state in our own home and did not expect it in a property we were renting. 2 of the poolside chairs were broken on our arrival and another collapsed whilst one of our party were sat in it. The games room consisted of a very old pool table and an air hockey table which had a huge hole that had been smashed in the middle. The single beds in the blue bedroom were too uncomfortable to sleep in. The bedroom furniture is sporadic. One double bedroom with no wardrobe and another with no drawers. Generally dated furniture and decor throughout. Only 2 bedrooms with ceiling fans and no ceiling fans in pool area. There were some small issues which the property management company dealt with. ( bin with no lid, broken ironing board, new chopping board). The broken tumble dryer was fixed on day 14. A great size villa in a beautiful location but the overall standard of the villa was much lower than our own home. The high cost of rental does not reflect the low standard of the villa’s interior and poolside. Owners need to invest in this property! We have stayed at Terre Verde on 4 previous occasions over the last 16 years. This was by far the lowest standard we have stayed in. We just felt disappointed. The worst part of all of this was the rudeness of guy from the management company when he came to the property. It was shocking. We will never use that company again and probably won’t stay in Terre Verde again.
