This unit had so much potential but sadly fell well short of it… The unit was not clean or well maintained. It is showing wear and tear throughout. The tile floors are cracking and separating from the slab beneath, the cabinets are beat up, the master shower was covered in mildew and a DIY caulk job. The cushions on the rear porch were faded and mildewed. The grill and the area around it was gross. The bed in the master bedroom was awful. The hot tub was full of sand and would not stay above 85deg (yes we kept it covered when not in use…). We had maintenance come check on it twice and they ended up draining and refilling. We were without the hot tub for 4 of the 6 nights we were there. The dryer was not working and required two separate visits from repairmen to get it functioning. There were only enough towels for 10 people (the total amount of people the unit will sleep) but with no dryer that quickly became an issue. On Monday of our stay we had pest control barge in to treat the unit before 9am, we had the hot tub people in there, two separate appliance repair people. The property overall was equally disappointing. It’s clear that maintenance is just not a priority. Doors were broken, tiles broken and missing, furniture broken, carpets were dirty, there was trash in and around the pools. The beach was the only saving grace for this place. Love OBA but will def stay elsewhere next time!
