Fun, well maintained property with plenty of space to accommodate 10 people very comfortably. We loved the gameroom in the basement and found everything to be in good, working order. Easy to check in and it was well stocked with everyday essentials and plenty of towels. Yard was great and the hot tub was clean. Everyone in my group had a great time and really enjoyed River Ridge.

Management Retreat

We have used this house for the last few years for a management retreat for 10 co-workers. This property provides an excellent place for us to spend the day doing long-term planning and then have the evening to enjoy dinner together.

Ladies' Getaway

12 ladies shared a long weekend getaway in this large home. There were enough true beds (not futons, bunks or pull-out sofas) to accommodate everyone. The 2 gas fireplaces were put to good use and kept the 2 gathering spaces warm and cozy. The WIFI service kept up with demand. Had some issues with the freezer in the kitchen, and the host was responsive. There was disappointment with some of the fun retro video games and dart board being worn out and/or not working properly. Hopefully this can be addressed so they are in good repair for the next family to enjoy.

Great experience in Gibbsville!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The home was as advertised, very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed. The host kept the Christmas decorations up to make the home festive for our family Christmas celebration. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. Everyone enjoyed the game rooms. The hot tub was a hit with all of us, young and old. We also enjoyed walking on the Onion River, following all the animal tracks in the new snow. We would definitely stay at this home again. It is a five star property.

Fall getaway

Great place to get away and relax and enjoy fall weather. House has everything you could need for the family. Very clean and well kept. Plenty of entertainment options and just 12 minutes from things to do around the area. Very close for golfers as well. Really enjoyed our time and the home.

Magical

I cannot recommend this property enough. The home is incredible and every detail has been well thought out. And the property is GORGEOUS! I am already daydreaming of returning. This was the perfect venue for our small family gathering which included two young kids, two teens, and parents. Everyone was happy!

Girls Trip

We were looking for a place nearby that was big enough to house 6-8 adults comfortably. There are plenty of beds so we didn't have to share. And there was a nice kitchen area where we spent most of our time chatting and gathering. Just wanted a quiet place to get away and spend time with high school girlfriends - it was great!

Girlfriend weekend

Great accommodations for everyone! Beautiful weekend to enjoy the backyard! We all enjoyed the fireplace, hot tub and comfortable chairs outdoors! Played games, cooked a lot in the fabulous kitchen and slept well ! This place was amazing from the small details to the overall luxury accommodations! You will not be disappointed! Work Gathering

Regularly my group uses this location for our supervisor teambuiling training. The space provides an area to share meals, hold training, sleep and socialize. The host is available whenever needed. The home is clean and has all the amenities you can think of. In fact, the game room lets us be a kid again! Great location and space!

The Perfect Christmas House

We do not have a huge family, but it is still difficult to comfortably fit everyone in all of our personal ranch style houses for holidays. This year, we wanted to rent out a larger house so everyone could have space and enjoy. The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas and we all had our own private bedrooms. The kids absolutely loved the game room and basement. The adults loved the luxurious kitchen and hot tub of course. The owners were wonderful and we'd love to go back!

Thanksgiving Day Stay

Overall, it was a fantastic Thanksgiving experience. We had Thanksgiving at Kohler Wisconsing Room. Ok food, next time would have it catered by Farm to Fork. Loved the Santa visit and real reindeer experience at Shops at Woodlake. Yoga on the Lake was life-changing good the day after Thanksgiving! The Blind Horse restaurant was the best! But loved having our family coming home from everything to this well-cared-for property!!!

Perfect Home for Extended Family Vacation!

We were joined at Wisconsin Getaway's River Ridge South by our children and their families for the week leading up to our 50th wedding anniversary. It had been five years since we had all been together, and this property was perfect for our event. The house is large, with enough bedrooms to accommodate all of us, and plenty of recreational areas which allowed people to break off and spend time in smaller groups or alone, and we often gathered around the large dining room table to converse or work on various projects. The large and beautifully landscaped lot provided additional places to sit quietly or to play. One evening, while sitting on the patio, I was serenaded by a congregation of frogs. We live on a busy street, and it was a joy to spend the week in this beautiful and peaceful setting. From the first inquiry about the property through the check-out process, communication with Tyler Le Roy was excellent. River Ridge South is an exceptional property, and we enthusiastically recommend it!
