Our room had very low water pressure at the bathroom sink. We reported to the front desk and moved to a different room. The water pressure was some better, but had not been updated with a walk in shower or any updates. At the breakfast bar cold sausage gravy was available. The attendant said to use the microwave to warm it up because since motel is so old there were facilities in the kitchen to warm the gravy. Our 2-day was tolerable, however we do not plan stay at this motel on OU future visits to Oklahoma City.

You might need to take a look at your coffee and pancake batter specifically. When we tried them this morning, they tasted sour. Overall, we always look forward to stay at La Quinta. Thanks!

The first night was fine, but on the second night I found bed bugs in my room. I was moved to another room where I discovered rat droppings on the pillow. There was no manager on duty, and I was only offered another room, which I declined because I no longer felt safe. Despite providing photo evidence, the hotel claimed there were “no rats” and refunded just one night. This was an extremely unsanitary and stressful experience. Management showed no accountability. I do not recommend staying here.

When we first arrived, check-in was quick and the lady at the front desk was very friendly, but that’s where the good experience ended. After going out for food, we came back and my daughter wanted to swim. When she asked for pool towels, the woman at the desk was rude and handed her very small towels. The pool area itself was in awful shape — dirty water full of leaves, no chlorine running, and only a couple of jets in the hot tub worked. The concrete looked poorly patched and neglected. Later that night we tried to pull out the sofa bed for my daughter, but it had no sheets, was ripped, and covered in stains. It was so bad she ended up sleeping in our bed. The in-room TV was tiny and outdated, especially for what we paid. We expected better quality for the higher price. Breakfast offered more variety than some motels, but the food wasn’t good and didn’t make up for everything else. When we checked out and mentioned the issues to the manager, he didn’t seem to care at all — like he already knew and didn’t plan to fix it. Overall, this hotel was a huge disappointment. Between the dirty pool, broken sofa bed, and poor management, it’s not worth the money. I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it to anyone until they make serious improvements.

Fire alarm complaint

So the most upsetting part would be that the fire/smoke alarm went off at 2:00am the first night and again at 3:45 pm later the same day. That extremely affected the quality of the stay because I booked the room for me and my two boys for a nice alone time weekend with dad. My oldest who has autism was terrified when the alarms went off both times absolutely effecting his stay because he was afraid the building was on fire and didn’t want to stay because he didn’t feel safe. I myself can only do so much to comfort him only to hope it wouldn’t happen again but sitting there affecting my stay because now o don’t know if the alarms are gonna scare my children again because they are repeatedly talking about what do they need to do in case of a fire. On top of that we were on the 6th floor with only one elevator working which was another nuisance.
