2/10 Terrible

The unit has potential and in some ways is well appointed. So if you have no issues arise, especially in a short stay, you might have a nice time. But the building itself needs work, and the unit has flaws (a lot of emphasis on appearance over function/comfort). More importantly, the hosts really don’t view it as their job to help you with problems that pop up, and are less than forthright in their dealings. Our 2-week off-season stay started with us walking into a unit that had not been cleaned, had construction debris everywhere, and had many things missing/not working. It ended with a Comcast workman walking into the unit -- while we were sleeping, no less! -- to complete noisy rewiring work, which the hosts were made aware of but did not warn us about. There were some good times in the middle (the unit does have some excellent plus-sides) as well as other bad times (including a blizzard and a power outage) but the bottom line is that these hosts really don’t care about your comfort. They seem to be in it for the money, really do not have an interest in providing a home away from home, and will try to gaslight you into thinking you are crazy when you ask them to actually function as property managers and help you navigate issues. I have been using VRBO since it was HomeAway and have stayed in MANY properties. This is without a doubt the most problematic stay I have ever had in all of my years using the service. Stay elsewhere- you can do better, especially for this price.
