I would advise anyone considering renting this property to first check the reviews on others web sites about the owners. Unfortunately, I saw them after they had already charged my card, but I still wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. Sadly, the reviews were accurate: it's almost impossible to communicate with them.
Additionally, the house was not properly cleaned. They send you a document with the house rules, which includes a requirement to sweep and mop the entire house before you leave, even though they also charge you for cleaning. I understand that it's normal to ask tenants to leave the house in good condition, and I always do, but making it mandatory to sweep and mop seems excessive.
They also leave the sheets in a bag inside the house, and you have to put them on yourself, plus they ask you to remove them at the end of your stay. Unbelievable.
Finally, they are supposed to provide 2 parking passes and 6 pool passes, but when I arrived, one parking pass was missing. When I emailed them about the missing pass, their response was incredible: they said the previous resident had taken it and that they wouldn’t charge me for it. So, they offered 2 parking passes but only left one, and didn’t bother to bring the other. Also, how is it possible that the previous resident took a pass and they didn’t notice? Do they not check the house before handing it over to new residents?
This was the first and last time I used this platform.
