This is an excellent motel. Quiet and warm It has older decor, but it is clean and functional. The owner is a lovely lady very welcoming and helpful Would definitely recommend this motel.

The motel is close to town with adequate off-street parking. It has double glazing at the front which reduces the road noise. The interior is dated but clean. The staff are friendly.

The bathroom is a little dated, water pressure in the shower not great and there was no sink to wash dishes apart from the bathroom one (there was a bowl in the cupboard that you could use for this purpose), the bed was comfy, the location great and the staff fantastic! But for our stay it was all we needed and was a popular motel as there were no vacancies that night. I think what made our stay so good was the interaction with the staff and if we were doing a short term stay again we would certainly consider Alpine as an option.
