This review is going to seem brutal compared to all the raving 5 star, and maybe if you only stay a night or two it would be fine; staying 5 days we found all the reasons this isn't a 5 star place. Firstly, there are no curtains on most of the windows; only thin ratan blind that is see through, and none in the kitchen. I had clothes pins and we clipped blankets and towels to the blinds. ... There are no towel bars in the bathroom, so you end up with wet towels drying on furniture. Plus no electric. I ended up in the kitchen with my hair dryer and curling iron with a compact purse mirror. Not idea. The wifi is so iffy it is practically nonexistent. The tv has no viewable channels unless you put your own accounts on it.If you don't want to eat out every meal, take cookware. There are only a couple skillets and one pan, plus no serving spoons. The owner could drive up the road to W-M and buy a set of nonstick cookware for under the price of one night's stay. Also pick up a couple of smaller knives and steak knives as there are only huge carving/chef knives, and some new register covers -- they are only a few dollars each and would a whole lot better than the dirty rusty ones that are there now. Thank goodness there was bug spay for all the ants in the kitchen and the hornet nest in the kitchen window. There is a lot to be said for location, vintage charm, and cute eclectic decor, but practicality goes a long way also.
