This house is infested with roaches! We booked this house for 28 nights, had a whole month of our trip planned and on the third night we saw roaches in the kitchen and then in the other rooms. We had read a review from a previous guest that said there were roaches, so I asked the host about it. They claimed that the roach problem had been professionally mitigated and that there were no longer any roaches in the house. That was a lie! After seeing the roaches, we looked around and noticed that all they had done was put roach bait all over the kitchen counters and on the floors. We had to throw away well over 1000 worth of groceries, dog food, and toys. When I asked for compensation for the loss and the cost of having to find another place to stay at least for a night until we could find another house, they said no. After insisting they do something, they said they would discuss it with management and get back to me. Then they stopped replying to my texts and calls. The next day was my wife's birthday and we had big plans to celebrate. Instead we spent the entire night packing and throwing away our stuff and moving everything into a storage unit because we had nowhere else to take it.Before all of this happened, I had to submit my ID and personal info to a third party for an extensive background check and then wait to be approved for the rental.
