Front desk during checkout are very rude. Once you’re leaving they don’t care. Late checkout impossible. Rooms are clean as to be expected, maids visit once daily, ensure to put the signage on your pillow for sheet change. Restaurants average. Avoid the Mexican as food isn’t great and staff seem overwhelmed. Pool facilities amazing for all ages. Keep in mind people place towels at 4am to ensure they get poolside beds. Gym facilities excellent.

Room was too low overlooked bird poop roof!! Asked to have room change and was told flat out NO!! I have back issues asked to have arm chair and that was never received. This my 4th stay there and this stay was quite different from previous years. Staff friendly. Food very good. Hated room

Nos atendieron muy mal, tenían el hotel lleno y muy poco personal, se les acababan los insumos, las estaciones de comida tienen horarios limitados, y si quieres comer algo después de las 17:00 hrs tenías que ingresar a un restaurante Hicimos una reserva para el evento del Súper bowl y en el check out nos querían hacer dobles cargos pir este evento porque tuvieron un desorden con las listas de asistentes, nadie tenía control m de nada Al parecer el hotel entrará en remodelación muy pronto y su servicio e instalaciones solo sobreviven, sin embargo el costo del hospedaje no se alinea en absoluto a sus deficiencias

La peor experiencia en servicio, este hotel no está preparado para una ocupación completa, el personal es insuficiente para dar un buen servicio, los alimentos son insuficientes ( se acabo el pan para los hor dogs, y el St. Germain) para todo había una negativa, ( no se puede, ya se acabó no puedes estar aquí)

My wife and I had a great stay at the Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta! We appreciated the service, food and amenities! Initially I had a minor problem that turned out to be a misunderstanding. There is a lot of staff everywhere and always happy to help. Had a great experience at the Spa. Great service from Chris and a fantastic massage from Janet!

Prepaid for a round trip private hotel transfer only to stand in the heat for 45 mins while a hotel rep positioned himself in the taxi queue on our behalf while we watched from a few feet away. Upon arrival we were offered an ocean view upgrade, we declined and the front desk agent said “I’ll still give you the room”. She had already written the room number down on the card she handed us. Sad attempt to upsell. We were promptly harassed by our “vacation planner” who was really just trying to get us to attend a 90 minute sales presentation to join their vacation club. Every subsequent walk through the lobby, we were met by this agent offering to incentivize us with whale watching excursions and massages. It got to the point where we avoided the lobby at all costs to prevent awkward exchanges with him and consistently having to turn down his advances. We walked the property excited to indulge in the dinner offerings and were promptly disappointed to find that only two of the restaurants were open, as the property accommodated a large group hosting a sales award ceremony. This party was located outside in the event space directly below our room and the music and cheering didn’t subside until 10pm. The room was significantly smaller than advertised online as they had renovated and turned part of the room into an outdoor balcony with a single person bathtub. Not the private jetted tub inside the room as advertised. Prepare for sectioned off areas for “members only”

Do NOT go to this hotel. It was dirty, poor service, our whole bathroom exploded from tiles up and poop was every where. Both my kids and I got skin infections from their dirty sheets and dirty pool water. Don’t be fooled by the pictures. Rooms are old and dirty. Even hallways dirt. The whole hotel looks like it has been through a beating and then someone pooped all over it. This is not exaggerating, it is the simple truth. DO NOT go here if you actually need to go on vacation. They changed our room 3 times.

The hotel was fine however the sales mentality of the staff was atrocious. They give you a colored bracelet that is also your room key that you can’t take off. The bracelet color ets staff know at a glance if you booked through Expedia, CostCo travel, etc. and they hound you about buying a vacation package directly with them. They offered me free tickets to a show if I met with a representative for no more than 45 minutes. It turned into a 5 hour ordeal AND they called me the next day to see offer another vacation package! The packages run upwards of $20,000 by the way. I felt like I was buying a car and not taking a much needed break from work. Not what I wanted to do in my vacation and I am very disappointed. The experience soured the rest of the vacation. I’m disappointed.
