Harts Hotel experience

Lovely hotel. I stayed in one of the Garden rooms and the views were amazing. Their service is great. I requested an iron and ironing board around 22:30 pm and the receptionist arranged for it immediately. The breakfast menu could be more budget-friendly though.

Can’t get excited

Stayed at Harts for 1 night with my daughter for an event at Motorpoint Arena. The area is lovely and quiet but close enough to the centre, which is great. Despite booking a superior room, I can’t see what was superior about it. It was small, roasting hot and needs some tlc. My fault for not realising they didn’t have air con, as apparently their ventilation system of windows being able to open etc means it’s not needed, but when the temperature outside is roasting hot air, even at night, then no amount of opening windows and a fan is going to cool things down, so a bad nights sleep for us. Ripped blind in the bathroom, bathroom not cleaned overly well, rusty towel rail etc. Staff were friendly enough, especially the men in the bar, they were very helpful. Breakfast was ok, again I couldn’t get excited. I had a small full English and it was only just warm, not hot. Prob wouldn’t return as at over £200 - it isn’t value for money at all.

An oasis of quiet and calm

Lovely hotel, tucked away in quiet corner of the city with stunning views, yet close to the city. Staff were all great - we arrived early morning and the promised ev charging space was ready for us and then we found our room was also ready, which was really helpful. Breakfast was good - lovely bread and hot options. More limited on the continental side though. Quiet and relaxing - can highly recommend this gem of a hotel.

A great hotel in the perfect location (next to the Castle), close enough to the city centre offering but far enough away to be quiet and relaxing. Food was good in the restaurant and the staff were excellent - friendly and helpful.

The staff at Harts were very kind and accommodating. They couldn’t do enough to make my stay a pleasant one. The rooms are small but perfectly formed with a wonderful view across the city. If you want to be close to all the action, but far enough away to get some peace and quiet then this is the place for you.

Little gem of a hotel

Lovely little hotel with comfy beds and very friendly staff. Room service food was excellent, apart from the ‘side of vegetables’ which turned out to be a bowl of potatoes!
