Charming cottage with shared beachfront on Grand Traverse Bay near Northport.

Prime summer requires a 3-night minimum.

Enjoy this cozy cottage with access to 400' shared frontage on West Grand Traverse Bay. Two quaint bedrooms and one bathroom with wood floors and an enclosed porch. The enclosed porch is a perfect area to dine or simply relax. Outside, enjoy the picnic table and charcoal grill for dining outdoors. Enjoy the spacious grounds and shared beach area. Water access is just across the yard. (You do not have to cross a road.)

This is a wonderful central location for exploring all the best of Leelanau. Lots of fun is available in Northport during the summer, including the Northport Wine & Craft Beer Festival, Leelanau UnCaged, the Northport Dog Parade, and fireworks on the Fourth of July. Northport is only 4 miles from the house.

One pet is allowed. Guests, please clean up after pets.

The location was great. We enjoyed the close beach and water and grilling right at our vacation home. We loved downtown Northport for shopping and some meals. And it was so close to everything else for sight seeing, wine tasting, and more.

The cottage looks exactly like the photos. It is small but very cute on the inside. We loved the screened in porch and the short walk to the beach that is on the property. It was very clean upon arrival. It probably could use some updates but we loved that there was a grill for the cottage and chairs to be outside.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property location was good. We did daily trips to different places. We did not use the private beach very often, because of the big and very slippery rocks was hard to walk in the water (we have 3 small children). Fortunately we found beautiful beaches near by. We were not happy with the maintenance of the cottage we stayed in. It was really dirty, dusty. You could see pet hair in every room by the walls. It looked like it wasn't even cleaned. The fans were on when we arrived, but there was like 2 inch of dust hanging from it. I don't really know if I would recommend this place to someone, the property location was nice, but who wants to stay in the dirty place?

It was everything plus more than the information on the website. All of us enjoyed the location right next to the beach but still close to town to shop. It was a dream find, out of coeincedence. We happened upon it last year after checking out of another vacation spot. It was not a dissapointment at all this year. It is a perfect location to escape the congestion of Traverse City and we love exploring the three surrounding communities of Leland, Suttons Bay and Northport. I love the quiet roads and the challenges they present for my cycling. It has a great beach for our young family. Weather was great! Food was awesome. Kudos to the cleaning staff. And we find it a relief to have the cupboards filled with all the little things you forgot or only need a teaspoon of. We hope we left more than we used for the next visitor. Thank you and we will see you again in the future. We may be interested in coming in the off season to check out another season. How late in the season are you open?

We found it very welcoming as we did the many towns and beaches we visited. The dogs really got a kick out of their own beach, although they didn't swim, they did get their feet wet and ran in the sand. How fortunate we are to have had such a lovely place to spend 10 days relaxing. We hope to return next year and have told all of our dog friends.
