The house location was perfect, perched on stairs above a grass lawn right on Wyassup Lake. Not for physically challenged people if you want to use the lake, unless you’re willing to drive down to the back of the house to avoid the stairs. You could have brought your own kayak or canoe as it would be easy to launch. The deck was spacious and sunny with two big umbrellas and lined with ambient lighting down the staircase for the evening’s enjoyment. There was also a large, quality gas grill and accessories to use. The double bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of hangers in the closet.
The kitchen was fairly well equipped with dishes and pots and pans but lacking some small appliances like a coffee maker. There were a few missed cleaning items and missing cleaning supplies that would have been helpful for instance a long swiffer to clean the ceiling fan, and a mop to clean under the dining table but maybe I was projecting my own standards. There was a washer dryer and a laundry basket which is a great bonus in a lake house. Overall rating 4.5/5.
