Wonderful house and location. Well stocked and plenty of lounge chairs for our group of 12 to enjoy the private beach. Be sure to bring water shoes to enter the ocean.

The water view was simply beautiful, and there was plenty of space and greenery between us and the neighbors so felt completely private and quiet. The snorkeling was wonderful... a bit challenging to get into the water with flippers but so worth it! The amenities inside were very good, and the place felt very clean and well maintained. Two large tables with seating for 12, one table inside and the other on the screened-in-porch, which we used often. There was plenty of comfortable seating both inside and out - on the porch and around the lovely pool that we enjoyed. Also pretty close to Rum Point for good restaurants and close enough to Geogetown and 7 mile beach to enjoy those, too. But we very much preferred staying where we did for the tranquility, beauty, and no crowds!!

Everything was wonderful. Snorkeling from the shore was amazing. No sandy walk in at the beach, rocky, but well worth going out to snorkel. House was in great shape, well stocked. Better than advertised!

The house was fantastic. They stock it with great starter amenities that lasted us an entire week. We only had to purchase some paper towel and we had packed our own laundry detergent. Nice big refrigerator with water filter and ice trays. Plenty of appliances ( 2 coffee makers) and even trays and utensils. Only thing we missed from home was our kitchen aid mixer! The kayaks, paddle boards and other beach toys were a nice touch. Bedrooms and bathrooms were sufficient. We had all adults so the upstairs twin beds were a tad small for our crew. Would be perfect for younger kids. Loved having ceiling fans in every room. Only one master suite has a TV. But 2 other TVs in main living area. Plenty of space for large groups to gather and even spread out. Nice screened in porch. The chickens will drive you nuts and sometimes seem like they might be aggressive but we didn’t have any issues other than them being very loud. They are all over the island!Only downside for us is the fact that the beach doesn’t go right up to the ocean. It’s a very rocky entry so definitely pack water shoes to make getting on and out a bit easier. It was easy to get to the house (we rented cars) and there are several great places to eat about 15-20 drive. Be sure to visit the Czech Inn Grill! But we went to several of the great restaurants on 7 mile beach and the only downside is the 50 ish minute drive to that side of the island.

Lovely home on the ocean

Our family of 11 enjoyed our time together at Calypso Blue. The house was as beautiful as the photos and all of the amenities helped us enjoy our stay. The pre arrival app was awesome.

5x Couples Getaway

We were a group of lifelong friends, 5 couples, 10 adults who enjoyed 5 wonderful days at Calypso Blue in Grand Cayman. The house was perfect for our group, perfectly equipped and exactly as advertised. We enjoyed the beach and snorkeling and loved the quietness the North side of the island had to offer. We easily arranged for all the popular excursions on the island. Highly recommend this house if you are craving time away for the hustle and bustle of life and want to enjoy the serenity of a tropical paradise!

Girl's annual Getaway

This was a beautiful home. The most amazing part was the beach access. So easy to float in the ocean as well as amazing snorkeling! We saw an eel and many colorful fish. It was so relaxing to lay on the recliners and look out at the water. It was nice to have access to the pool and there were floats available to use. The kayaks were also nice to use out in the ocean. The house is nicely decorated. The kitchen is well-appointed. We had a few issues that were addressed immediately by the owner due to circumstances outside his control. The upper rooms were a little warmer than the other areas of the home but Craig helped to resolve this for us quickly. Comfortable beds. About 40 minutes from airport but there was a small nearby small grocery store and many restaurants within 15 minutes. We also were able to do a private boat tour and had a pickup at the nearby marina. Would highly recommend it and would come again. The owner does have another nearby smaller house that can be rented as well.

This property is beyond beautiful! Quiet and peaceful! A must for anyone looking to just relax and take in the views. Roy was there resolving any concerns and check in was a breeze! Beautiful!!!

We came to Grand Cayman for my wife’s birthday and had an outstanding time.. Craig is absolutely terrific and very responsive. We had one of our suitcases break and needed a screwdriver. I emailed Craig and in less than 2 minutes, Roy was at the front door with the screwdriver.. The location and condition of the house was very nice, the pool with it beautiful view of the water is exactly what were hoping for!! Not one issue at all..

10/10 5-Star rental. Without hesitation, Calypso Blue exceeded our expectations. From booking the reservations, to check-in, to departure ... everything was 100% spot on. Craig [the owner] was extremely responsive and provided great recommendations for us to explore during our vacay. The place is paradise!! We had a blast and will return!

Big Chill

We had three couples who have been traveling together for over 40 years. Calypso Blue was great for us. The home is beautiful on a gorgeous setting. House was very clean with well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed cooking our dinners and having lunches out in various restaurants recommended to us. Communication with Craig was excellent. We had one small plumbing issue that was taken care of within two hours of reporting it. Would certainly recommend Calypso Blue

Great house on the calm side of the island

It is a very nice and spacious house. Lots of bedrooms and places to hang out inside, on the screened in porch, pool deck and your own private beach. Everyone could do their own thing. The kitchen is well equipped and their are several nice casual place to eat near by. Highly recommend.

Amazing

The property was as prescribed on the listing. The home was very clean including bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen had great applications and kitchen ware. The view OMG was amazing which may be an understatement. The water was rough so we couldn’t kayak or boogie board but it is available. There is a market in walking distance. The host was amazing and very responsive. He checked in throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend this home.

Perfect Vacation House

This was the most amazing vacation! This house made our trip. The location was quiet with plenty of amazing restaurants nearby. The pool with the ocean view was a huge hit with everyone and my favorite part was the screened in porch where the adults hung out every evening. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for all of us. The communication with the owner and property manager was almost instant even on a Sunday. There was a nearby small grocery store within easy walking distance. You definitely need a car but everything is an hour or less away. We will absolutely be back and stay again at this house again!!

Perfect home away from home

The home was set up great for group gatherings with kitchen and living room space as a great room! The bed rooms and bathrooms were large and made everyone comfortable. Can’t say enough about the pool and the ocean being only steps away there was something for everyone.

Quiet Tropical Paradise

We stayed six nights at Calypso Blue, celebrating my parent's 50th Anniversary! The entire time we were in awe of the home and setting! From the moment we booked, Craig was in contact, answering any questions and providing recommendations for restaurants and excursions! The home was well-stocked and cozy! The setting and location were perfect! It is away from crowds but close enough to Rum Point or the East End for a quick 10-minute drive to activities! A well-stocked grocery store is within walking distance of the house. My family loved snorkeling off the reef behind the house! We travel and use VRBO often; however, this trip is one of our absolute favorites, thanks to the perfect home! We cannot wait to return to Calypso Blue in the future!
