Welcome to Trident House! Designed by the renowned architect, Ray Nathaniels, a student of Frank Lloyd Wright, this asymmetrical home was custom built in an architectural style specific to its environment. Trident House consists of a four-bedroom, four and a half-bath main house. Trident House has just been completely remodeled.
Trident House has 450 feet of glorious private beachfront on pink-sand Poponi Beach, ranked one of the best beaches in the Bahamas. Situated on 3 private acres of lush tropical gardens, Trident has plenty of seclusion and everything you need for an idyllic vacation. You will usually have the beach to yourself at this private location, and yet a great restaurant and bar (Unique Resort, which has a excellent new chef) is a 3-minute walk down the beach from the property.
Amenities at Trident House include:

Sliding glass doors and windows that offer sweeping views of ocean and gardens from most rooms.
Shaded patios and porches off of every room offer cool places to sit any time of the day.

Fully equipped kitchen with induction cooktop and oven, oversized fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, mini-grill, toaster, juicer, blender, coffee machine and tea kettle.
Office space – Trident is set up for a fully operational home office with three desks, multiple monitors, and a printer.
Trident House is fully air conditioned to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Amenities include AC, reliable Wi-Fi, Smart TVs with Netflix in every bedroom and the great room, room safe, washer/dryer, large freshwater cistern with filtration system, automatic on-demand generator, solar with back up solar battery, outdoor Weber BBQ, two sea kayaks (one inflatable double kayak to take in the car, one double sea kayak for the beach), beach chairs and beds, and four outdoor showers.
BEDROOMS: There are four bedrooms and four and a half- baths in the main house: Master Bedroom: King bed, ocean view, en-suite bath. Oceanview Bedroom: King bed, ocean view, en-suite bath. Partial Seaview Bedroom: King bed, partial ocean view, en-suite bath. Garden Bedroom: King bed, garden view, en-suite bath.
Trident House has a two-bedroom guest house which can be added to the reservation for an extra charge. If you don't rent it, it can be rented separately. The guest house has good privacy from the main house and does not share the pool or other amenities.
LOCATION: Unique Village restaurant and bar is a 3-minute walk down the beach from Trident Estate. La Bougainvillea Resort with its excellent restaurant and bar is a 15-minute walk down the beach.
The town of Palmetto Point is just half a mile away, a one-minute drive or a ten-minute walk. Tippy's beachfront restaurant is a 5-minute drive. A ten-minute drive takes you into Governors Harbor, the main town on the island. Governors Harbor has a charming collection of 19th century homes and churches overlooking its historic harbor. Buy fresh fish and lobster most afternoons from fisherman at the town dock, or visit the recently restored Haynes Library, which dates from 1897, for the weekly coffee hour for foreign residents and tourists. Governors Harbor has grocery stores, restaurants, liquor stores, two banks with ATMs, a bakery, gift shops, and a medical clinic. Friday Night Fish Fry in Governors Harbor, a street/beach party that brings together all the tourists and locals with food, drink, and dancing in the street, is not to be missed.

As commented previously the layout of the bedrooms and bathrooms is odd and means walking through other guest bedrooms to get to the master bedroom. Most of the lights, ceiling fans and sliding glass doors had issues.

Beautiful home with excellent views! Many of the light fixtures didn’t work, kayak was no longer available. Chuckie was great!
