Upon arrival, the property presented an initial aesthetic appeal. However, a closer inspection revealed several maintenance issues. The furnishings exhibited significant wear and tear, and the window coverings were visibly soiled. The leather sofa's reclining function was inoperable due to a mechanical failure, and the host had disabled the feature. Two bedroom televisions initially failed to function and, despite manual rebooting, remained unreliable, limiting entertainment options to the main living area. The balcony area was found to be unkempt, with an unemptied ashtray containing remnants of cigarette and cannabis use. I purchased two chair cushions for the porch and left them for future guests.Furthermore, I was compelled to purchase additional bedding to maintain a comfortable temperature in the living areas and bedrooms, as the climate control system was not accessible. I appreciated the cooler temperatures.The property lacked trash bags and instructions for waste disposal.Regarding the bedroom nearest the deck, the closet window screen was damaged, and the bottom dresser drawer was broken.The kitchen lacked oven mitts.In the bedroom closest to the front door, a dresser knob was missing.Please exercise caution when navigating at night due to the middle drawer of the vanity dresser with the mirror opening by it's self!!My biggest dissapointment Was being denied early access for 3 hours with my 84y/o father and pet on a 100⁰ day due to the maid.
