Nice place to stay in

Nice place to stay in overall. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the bathroom had two rolls of tissue and body wash, towels provided. There was also an iron available, which was handy. My partner noticed a few small flies or fleas on the throws, but it wasn’t a big issue ,we just moved them aside. The only downside was that my room was on the ground floor, and I could hear a lot of noise from the room above. Next time, I’ll probably ask to stay on the first floor instead. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay!

The space is modern and clean. Nice queen size bed, good kitchen setup, excellent modern bathroom with a decent size shower (yay!). My only complaint is that I couldn't get the temperature regulator on the shower to work properly. It would quickly get scalding. I found one of the house keepers and asked her. She had to investigate, but then later kindly slipped a note under my door explaining that I had to turn the bottom handle clockwise, that it was just sticky. I tried that, but it didn't work. Had to shower quickly so as not to burn myself. Other issue is that without a front desk, it's challenging to deal with such issues. Also, they did not clean the room, empty the trash once during my 6 night stay. All said, the place is great, and I would definitely book there again!

Great stay at Stay Coastal. Team was great with help getting checked in. While check in on hotels.com says 3 the hotel says it is 4pm so plan accordingly. They were very kind letting us check in at 3 instead as I had a call to be on which was very kind. Super great stay in a great neighbourhood close to the metro. Would highly recommend for anyone staying in the area.

A nightmare half term stay for the children

Very disappointed with this stay booked for the family (2 adults and 4 children) months in advance for the half term. The advert said that it was suitable for the 6 of us. When we got there, there was a king sized bed (very comfortable) and 2 single beds but no made up sofa bed for the remaining 2 guests. The sofa was filthy with stains of food and drink. After calling the lady who sent the check in details, was informed of how to prepare the sofa bed, but on pulling out the bottom, there were food residues found on that part. Complained to the lady who said that the owner would call us the next day to discuss but this did not happen. Found a stained towel- made me question whether it had been laundered properly. The bathroom was lovely as was the kitchen bit A little cramped -? converted loft on 3rd floor. Room a little cold but given helpful instructions on how to correct this. The children were forced to sleep together on the single bed - suffice to say that this was not comfortable and were falling out. Incidentally, checking in instructions were spot on.
