The room was nice but a bit smelly. I stayed for 2 nights and my coffee, milk & biscuits & water was not replenished. It would be useful to provide a small bathroom kit, cotton buds and cotton pads. I came back after being out for a glass of wine in the bar and the barman assumed I wanted to bring it to my room so was about to pour it into the bottle - simply because I was on my own! I asked him to pour into a glass so that I could sit at the bar and he seemed surprised - this made me feel embarrassed. The large glass of wine was £28 - crazy! I don't even expect to pay that in a 5 star hotel for a glass of wine! It was NZ sauv blanc (not a fancy one either.) I didn't have breakfast as didn't like the look of the restaurant area and there are lots of cafes nearby so can't comment on food. I don't think I would stay there again.

Great full-service city centre hotel

Great location in the city centre , walking distance to everything. The room was well appointed with a very comfortable bed. Great buffet breakfast. The staff were delightful , warm and welcoming.
