On December 14, 2025, my friends and I made a reservation at TRYP by Wyndham after our flight was canceled and rebooked for the early morning of December 15, 2025. We chose this hotel specifically because of its close proximity to the airport and the advertised complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport, which was a major factor in our decision to stay there. We had no issues taking the shuttle from the airport to the hotel. During that ride, the shuttle driver instructed us to be in the lobby by 3:50 a.m. for a 4:00 a.m. shuttle departure, as our flight was scheduled to leave at 5:30 a.m. We followed these instructions exactly, were fully packed and ready by 3:30 a.m., and waited in the lobby as advised. However, the shuttle never arrived at 4:00 a.m. When we asked about it, we were told by the driver that he was the only one working and that the shuttle was already full. No alternative solution was offered, and the hotel staff provided no assistance in resolving the issue. As a result, we were forced to order an Uber at our own expense and were left rushing to the airport under unnecessary stress. The failure to provide the complimentary shuttle service we were promised caused a significant inconvenience and defeated the very reason we chose to stay at this hotel. The lack of support and accountability from the staff only added to our frustration. Due to this experience, I will not be booking with Wyndham properties in the future, nor will I recommend them.

I had a problem with the shuttle service… it took an hour for them to pick me up from the airport and the driver said he was the only However, the staff tried to make it up to me at the front desk.

The heat was not working well in room, could not get higher tgan 73 and the room was extremely drafty with 2 windows in bathroom and small room. I was cold most of the time. No carpet on floors besides throw rug. No desk chair but a stool chair. Shower door didn’t close all the way. Not worth 235 a night!!! Queen bed. Staff was great though

Rooms are drafty, even when blinds are shut, the windows have air coming through them. There was a continuous “drip” noise coming from the heat vent in ceiling. The workout room is I the basement. It feels like a dungeon and it is freezing cold!!

The room served us well. You can tell it's an older building, but they've done updates to the rooms. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. It's a 10 minute walk to Penn Station, which takes you directly to NYC. I would stay here again.

Room was clean . The towels were like sandpaper. Ice machine was not working. No mini fridge in the room.The lobby door was very difficult to open.The front desk should inform you that you need a parking lot pass to park.
