I have more of a suggestion as opposed to a full on review .I stayed at this hotel Friday October 31st and I will say that the staff working the front desk needs to work on their hospitality and greetings better when guests are checking in . Secondly the fire alarm went off Saturday morning and there were no phones in the rooms and that shouldn’t be in case of an emergency in which it seems like it was .The other guests staying in the hotel were lost trying to figure out what happened and everyone had no idea as to what was going on .As staff ,you are supposed to calm and alert the guests staying at the facility and there needs to be phones in the rooms to page and call each room so everyone can fully evacuate the premises if need be .The hotel itself was clean but everything else needs to be worked on .There also should be an intercom stating for guests to properly evacuate .

Do Not Stay Here

Do not stay at this hotel. First, there is no parking. You have to hope you can get street parking, and you'll have a hard time getting any within 2 blocks of the hotel. I got lucky since I arrived late on a Saturday night and left on a Sunday, when there are no parking restrictions in New York City, I have heard. Second, there was no hot water. Whoever was at the front desk didn't seem to think this was urgent. I got a Dunkin Donuts gift card when I complained (which I may not even be able to use since it may be just for a specific location near the hotel). Third, people at a nearby room played loud music till 5:40 a.m. and then resumed the loud music at 9:30 a.m. I asked the front desk to tell the people playing the music to stop about 5 times and the front desk did not. Fourth, someone from the hotel just tried entering my room without knocking. Fifth, the rooms have no tables (other than tiny nightstands) or chairs. I want my money back.

Seems like it’s a new hotel from all the people on site working and training. Very friendly staff, I booked a king bed accidentally with my co worker and they were able to accommodate me with a double bed! Very large rooms, quiet, and clean. It was right next to Jamaica station so the ride into the city was quite easy. A lot of corner stores with great meal choices etc. Would def come back with the proximity from JFK airport and easy commute to the city along with the hospitality service given. Sam was great at the front desk!
