Spacious, well-equipped, private cottage in a tranquil garden setting, with easy access to cities, villages, sites and amenities. It was just the two of us, but the layout with two baths, and bedrooms at opposite ends of the house from one another would offer plenty of privacy for housemates. Parking is easy. The wif-fi is strong. Even on cloudy days, the many skylights and windows keep the home bright. The hosts are wonderful! Their years of experience are evident in their offering the perfect balance of service, attentiveness and respect for privacy.

Erholung pur

Die schöne Ferienwohnung mit zwei Schlafzimmern und zwei Badezimmern war der ideale Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung der Halbinsel Hook. Die Städte Wexford und Waterford sind mit dem Auto schnell erreichbar. Das nahe gelegene New Ross bietet alles für den täglichen Bedarf und einige Sehenswürdigkeiten.Die Vermieter sind fraundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Beautiful cottage

Had a wonderful week exploring the area on our road bicycles. Cottage was a beautiful and comfortable place to rest and enjoy. Hosts were super friendly, thoughtful and welcoming.

Schöne Unterkunft

Sehr schönes geräumiges Cottage mit allem was man benötigt. Die Vermieter sind auch sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. In der ganzen Umgebung findet man Interessantes zum besichtigen und Wandern.

We stayed for seven days in the Horse Shoe Cottage. The cottage was fantastic everything one would need was provided. The owners were very sociable and really friendly. We will definitely consider booking again with this couple.

Great hosting in beautiful area

Really spacious and lovely historical building converted into a holiday cottage. Patricia & Roger are perfect hosts and extremely welcoming and responsive. They provide you with lots of helpful local information. The respond quickly when contacted with any requests or issues. Unfortunately, we found the bed in the main bedroom very hard and struggled to sleep well. We had a problem with water temperature in the shower but Roger came and sorted that out. But the water pressure isn’t great. Overall we had a lovely holiday but it was unfortunate about the bed.

Our week in Wextord

The property was perfect and had everything in it that we needed. It is in a great location and places like Hook Head, Tramore, Dunmore East, Kilmore Quay, Wexford, New Ross are a relatively short drive away. There are some excellent places to eat nearby such as The Hollow, Kehoes in Kilmore Quay, The Strand in Duncannon. We also got excellent takeaway from the Very Well Cafe in Ramsgrange. I would 100% recommend this property as a place to stay.

What wonderful find this place was!!

We could not have been happier! What a lovely place in the country with so much charm and ambience. And a great location to jump off to so many charming adventures. You MUST go to the JFK Homestead. Mary Murphy gave us the BEST experience there. Also go to Hook Lighthouse - beautiful area. Another must is Coventry Stores - a pub in Wexford. Visit on a Sunday at noon to enjoy local musicians playing Irish music while you have your lunch! Patricia and Roger, thank you for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay, One of the highlights of our trip!!

Comfortable Cottage.

We had a great stay in horseshoe cottage. It was so comfortable and we all slept really well. The kids had a blast exploring outside and the views and proximity to historical sites, Kennedy Park, New Ross and waterford with the new bypass was wonderful. There was perfect communication throughout and the accommodation was perfectly equipt. Thank you Mag.

Toller Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung des Südostens von Irland

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche dort. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es ist absolut zu empfehlen. Ruhige Lage und man ist schnell bei vielen Ausflugszielen.

Wonderful place, great location

Our visit was wonderful. The cottage is really comfortable and we'll equipped. The location is fantastic, a really good spot for exploring the area. Very enjoyable and our dogs loved it too.

Quaint cozy cottage

We with 2 kids 7 & 10 loved our staycation in Wexford. This cottage was a perfect base for us to organise ourselves and have day trips to all that Wexford has to offer. The owners were brilliantly friendly and accommodating. Big thumbs up.

Cottage in Wonderland

'Horseshoe Cottage' is one of four restored dwellings on the Warren Family farm in Whitechurch, Co, Wexford. A little off the main roads, it oozes charm and comfort. The cottage is exceptionally well equipped, modern and warm. Patricia is a superb hostess- a personal welcome, fresh roses on the table, tea tray ready. TV, Wi-Fi etc. Full bookshelf and many board games. Sunny patio with bbq and a 'Miss Marple'garden. Well worth a visit.
