Getting Around:
The best way to get around is by bike or Uber. Many Bywater destinations (The Country Club, Suis Generis, Elizabeth's, etc.) are less than a 5 minute walk. The French Quarter is a brisk walk or a short taxi/uber away; however, many locals prefer to spend time here in the Marigny/Bywater, on Frenchman Street, or in the local galleries, restaurants, bars, and cafes that are all nearby.
Walking in this neighborhood is quite safe, but we do recommend that you be aware of your surroundings at all times.

A very beautiful and well maintained home! It was in a very convenient area - within walking distance to some local restaurants and a quick uber ride to the French Quarter. The hosts were very responsive to any questions I had. There was plenty of room to host our New Orleans family for Christmas dinner and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, etc. We also enjoyed the heated pool.

The home was exactly as pictured and absolutely stunning. It was perfect for our family girls trip of varied age groups. The parking is limited with only the one spot next to the house but we were able find street parking fairly easily. The only other critique was that the hot tub and pool were lukewarm and definitely could have been hotter. Other than that it was great and we would definitely stay here again and recommend it for other large groups.

Excellent place for a group stay. Large common spaces. Very comfortable beds. Clean and modern. The bed configuration is not as presented in the listing, so check with the host before you book, if you're banking on a specific number of beds. The host was very responsive. This place is not super far from Frenchman St, but you'll want to cab not walk at night as you have to go thru a fairly industrial area to get to it. It is walking distance to a coffee shop, restaurants, and bakery.

Family Trip
Between our two families, we had 9 people, 5 of whom were "the kids" aged 19-28. Everyone got some privacy with their own bedroom and bathroom in this spacious home. It's very new, beautifully decorated, and offered both "together" space in the kitchen/dining/living area as well as "separate" space in the bedrooms. The pool was indeed warm on our cool winter days there. There are a couple of coffee shops nearby and Elisabeth's restaurant on the corner with great breakfast and lunch.
