Hotel is horribly neglected. The staff say "well it's an old hotel" but that does not excuse doors that wont open all the way (fire hazard) mirrors that are just set on a shelf and held with duct tape, the smell of mold when you firat open the door, and it certainly does not excuse NASTY sheets!! My pillow had sticky red stuff on it, there were curly black hairs on the sheets, stains all over each piece on linens. And to make it worse, when we asked for clean sheets my husband was given a stack for him to bring back and we had to change our own bedding!! The checkin lady acted like I was bothering her while she chatted with another staff member. And when we went to check out the guy didn't even look up, just pointed to the corner of the desk and said "put the key there". I did and started to tell him how nasty the bed was, he rolled his eyes and just cut his eyes towards me... no I'm sorry, nothing, just sat there and looked at me til I left.

Everything is wonderful here, from the lovely, welcoming staff, unique rooms, decor, patio, all enclosed secured gait, location is spot on, parking is available, I stay here often, always have an amazing stay here :)

The staff was great! Very helpful and had great suggestions for places to eat and things to do. We arrived a few minutes early and she let us go ahead and check in. Can't say enough positive about the staff. The hotel itself has a lot of "character". A little rough around the edges but it was convenient to the parade we wanted to attend. Overall we have certainly had much worse experiences.
