Newly updated and spacious one bedroom apartment with private balcony and picture window. Perfect for Mardi Gras celebrations and revelry. Located only a half a block from the Parade Route. Also located within a 3-mile radius of the Superdome, French Quarter. Magazine Street, the Convention Center, and the Fair Grounds and Racetrack (location of JazzFest). Garden District Charm is also very close to many fine dining and casual restaurants. Many within walking distance. This includes the world-famous Commanders Palace. We are walking distance to fancy cocktail bars and neighborhood dive bars. Getting around town is a breeze with the historic St Charles streetcar only a half a block away. We are located .3 miles from a small local grocery store for added convenience.

Open layout overflowing with floor to ceiling windows throughout the apartment. Balcony in the back of the apartment overlooks the courtyard. There is a gorgeous vestibule leading from the street to the courtyard. This unit has a private entrance. There are hardwood floors throughout the apartment. The unit has central air / heat so you can enjoy this location in any season.

The bathroom features an oversized walk-in shower and double vanity. The bedroom has a king-sized bed and Includes closet space to unpack and make yourself at home. Very pretty area.

Place had everything we needed! It did have an electric stove, which we aren’t used to. Otherwise, it was a very nice kitchen. Seemed like there was a small issue with the air conditioning. It was rather warm outside and we tried to adjust the air conditioning, but it would go up to almost 83 sometimes. Other than that, everything was exceptional. I loved how the windows open from the bottom and you can go on the porch and sit outside. And being able to walk to the grocery store and or magazine Street was perfect. We had a great time. Getting to town was good as well, since transportation to town was very easily accessible. Street car or bus made things very simple to get into town, without having to drive. This was a great place to stay to get away from the city hustle and still be able to walk to restaurants and stores if needed. Would definitely stay here again.

What a charming place

The location is cery convenient and easy to access the street cars. The entire property is absolutely charming and beautiful! The management very prompt and easy to contact. We felt very safe and secure and would definitely stay here again and recommend to others!

Great New Orleans hideaway, excellent for parades

Property manager (Crissy) was very responsive even prior to our arrival. Location was amazing. View of St. Charles from our living room window. We were at the end of the block from parades off of St. Charles. Parking was a little tricky with Mardi Gras but that happens everywhere this time of year. Clean, easy check in and clear instructions. Outside balcony gorgeous and relaxing. Bedding and pillows were super comfortable. Kitchen with many amenities that we utilized while there. Washer and dryer were shared with bottom unit and available at all hours. Very pleased with our visit. Thank you Crissy for making this visit a memorable one.
