New Market mini stay

We stopped for a couple of days on our way to Gatlinburg, the cabin was quaint and very clean, the owners had thought of everything. We enjoyed seeing deer on our way in and out, great breakfast at The Southern Kitchen and a day at Shenandoah Park and Caverns

Perfect spot to unplug and recharge

My friend and I stayed the weekend for a quiet getaway. The property was as described and overall pretty clean. Scooter was very communicative and responded to any needs or questions we had in a timely manner.

Nice getaway to New Market

We really enjoyed our stay in the cabin. It had everything that we needed. Most of our time was spent exploring the are and the battlefields. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent stay

My daughter and I wanted to do a cavern tour and this cabin was perfectly located. We ended seeing and exploring so much more than just the caverns! Cabin was very relaxing and peaceful. The owner and management team were super responsive and helpful. I would recommend.

Trip with my daughters

We loved our stay. The ride in wasn’t too bad. It is bumpy with a lot of hills. The steepest part is getting into the driveway. The house was cozy. We really couldn’t use the outside area though because of sap dripping from the trees that made everything sticky. We still used the propane fire pit to make s’mores, we just couldn’t use the chairs. We spent most of our time hiking the trail in Shenandoah National Park so only really used the house as place to sleep. It was perfect. I highly suggest going to Pack’s frozen custard down the road. We will probably most definitely be going back. The V3

Peaceful Setting, Thoughtful Accommodations

This was one of the most thoughtfully-put-together homes we have stayed in. Cozy homey feel and perfectly clean. The kitchen was well-stocked and everything felt new throughout. We had a tiny hiccup that was entirely beyond the host’s control and it really felt more like a dear friend fussing and worrying about getting us squared away and settled than “customer service.” That meant as much to me as the pristine and peaceful accommodations. Would very happily stay again and heartily recommend.

Perfect Getaway

Our host was great. Our stay was amazing, nice and secluded. The cabin has everything you'd need for your stay. 4x4 car is a must, I managed with an AWD with a litte struggle. 10/10 recommend.

The cabin was amazing!! It was nice and quiet! The perfect place to unwind and get away. We brought some board games with us and enjoyed two nights of being unplugged! There is plenty to do in the local area and the drive is not far! They have a tv and WiFi for those who don’t want to be completely unplugged! We definitely recommend!!

Great getaway!

I am not one to go away by myself. But I tried something new and did this house for a getaway by myself to relax and have quiet. This home was perfect! Had everything I needed, comfortable bed and beautiful view! It was just what I needed to regroup. Owner was fantastic with communication and helped with my questions. I would highly recommend this house for anyone looking to be away from it all but also close to things!

Just what we needed

What a great little place. This was the perfect place for my family of 3. Other than the bumpy and steep road leading to the cabin, our stay was wonderful. We even got a little snow while we were there. We would stay again!

25th Birthday Girls trip

Cabin is set in a beautifully wooded location close to Luray Caverns, Shenandoah National Park, horseback trail rides, apple picking and wineries. Cabin has everything you need. Very pleasurable stay!

Perfect weekend

We stayed here for Family Weekend at JMU. Easy drive down 81 to campus. Cabin was super clean, very attractive. Had everything we needed. Extra toothbrushes, etc., were a sweet touch. Would love to come back and explore the area more. New Market is a very pretty town!

Hiking in the GW!

We came to New Market to do a bouldering hike we've had our eyes on for a while now- this property was lovely but you DO NEED 4 WHEEL DRIVE!! The property is up a mountain on entirely gravel roads with grades. I made it up in kia rio car but it was no picnic and it hadn't rained in a week, so risk if it you want! My only complaint is the check in- there's only one key and that can be tenuous if it gets lost. Other than that the property was amazing! We would definately book again! :^)

Great Mountain Retreat

I wanted to take my son and grandson on a guys' weekend. I booked this property last minute. The Scooter was very accommodating. The cabin was very well maintained and the posting was very accurate. The house is very well stocked. Believe them when they say you need a 4x4 vehicle. My son and I are big guys, and as a result, the sofa wasn't the most comfortable for us. It would probably be fine for smaller folks. We would definitely book this cabin again, and I have already recommended it to my sister-in-law.
