The room we were given smelled overwhelmingly of cat urine. The source was an armchair in the corner, so we asked the staff to remove this piece of furniture, and this greatly improved the smell in the room, but our view of the hotel was that it was not properly clean. The pool was a major draw for our children, but the filter was broken and the pool remained open, while not in a fit state to be used. The buffet breakfast was a point of pride for this hotel. There were many options, good coffee. The owner clearly takes pride in the breakfast. The bar looked nice, and having a restaurant on the property is a good perk. I’m sad to give negative feedback, as the owner is very nice, but the overwhelming positive reviews that led me to book this hotel did not match our experience.

This place was easy find, right off the highway. Check in process was a breeze. Staff was very accommodating. My boyfriend bought a few beers from the desk. Rooms were clean. We were going to a concert at Mohegan sun. 15 minute drive to the casino. I did not eat breakfast because I was hungry over, but my boyfriend, brother and SIL did My boyfriendvl said it was good He had sausage, homefries and eggs. Good price for a clean hotel Will stay here again if in town.

The stay itself was nice. Some of the clients of the hotel seemed sketchy. I was approached in the hallway and solicited. So that wasn't pleasant. My boyfriend reported it to the feont desk after I left. I am not sure if anything was done about it.

The outside definitely needs some work (to be fair-it is getting remodeled) the inside was a bit better. The lobby smelled like smoke but thankfully our room didn’t. The room was clean. The bathroom showed lots of wear and tear. The breakfast was definitely lacking and the coffee was very watered down.

The first unacceptable problem was that the property is NOT HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE!! The second issue was that the property listed many amenities on Expedia that DID NOT EXIST!! I specifically booked our stay for The Arcade,Gift Shop, vending machines,and expected the breakfast buffet to be like the pictures that were posted!! Not even close!! My advice from this experience is to call the property first before you book it!! Especially if you have children!!!
