Place was wonderful

Property owner takes great care of the place. Instructions were easy to follow and the location was right down the road from the places we were going to. We would rent again if we ever come back to New Haven

Great place to stay in New Haven

Seems newly renovated and well equipped. Nice two bedroom unit if you don't mind stairs (which we don't). Other than sorting out the initial access (the door code did not work) our stay was very enjoyable and would recommend this place to others.

A nice place close to Yale science hill

The place was remarkably clean and looked like the pictures, but there were a few things that surprised us. 1) The unit is on the 3rd floor, accessed by a very twisty, narrow staircase with uneven-sized steps. I was recovering from knee surgery, and while I can handle a few steps easily, this was more challenge than I had expected, and there was no warning of this in the description (getting luggage up and down this very narrow staircase was particularly challenging for me). 2) The description says the place includes laundry, but in fact, the laundry is 1 floor down and coin operated (I don't carry cash anymore, so this required first finding an ATM and then a store to get the quarters necessary to operate the machines, which was 30 minutes that I really didn't have to spend). The machine malfunctioned while we tried to use it, but the owner responded promptly, sending someone out to fix it in about 30 minutes and give us replacement quarters so that we could rerun our load. 3) The unit is sparsely furnished. For example, there is not a single chair in the entire unit (only the small couch and benches in the kitchen). There is no place in the bathroom to put toiletries, and generally no surfaces on which to spread out. That said, the furniture was comfortable (particularly the beds). 4) There was no oil/butter in the kitchen, Kleenex or other quasi-necessities. Otherwise, unit was comfortable and well located.

Awesome stay!

From beginning to end, it was an effortless stay. I was worried from the pictures that it would be small but the rooms were very spacious! The place was clean and beautiful. My friends were visiting from KY and they loved their stay in East Rock! Thank you to the host for being very reachable and helpful!

Fantastic place!

What a cute place! The property was easy to access, convenient location, clean, beautifully styled and oh so cozy comfy beds with very nice linens. The host was fantastic, provided detailed information and checked in through the app to ensure we had everything we needed. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great location

Rooms were as pictured on line. Clean and comfortable. Great location within walking distance of a wonderful market with great food and a nice coffee shop nearby as well. The property was well lit at night and we felt safe at all times.

Clean, cool and cozy

Our family visit to New Haven was made all the better for having chosen this rental. Directions were spot-on and parking was convenient. The security locks and property lights made us feel very safe. The entire space was tidy and the kitchen/bath were perfect for the 4 of us to share. Beds were quite comfortable and the awesome blue velvet couch was a nice spot for a quick nap. Grateful for the host’s hospitality and care! Oh, and the central A/C was phenomenal thru a hot summer stay.
