We had a very nice stay, we were disappointed that the pool and hot tub were not open. It wasn't extremely hot but I do not believe the air conditioners are working in the rooms. We turned it on and it seems as though the room got hotter instead of cooler.

Better than your normal stay

Very nice and friendly hotel. Will stay again when in that part of Ohio. If the shower head could be changed or lowered it would make the shower better. Im 6 foot and i had to stretch to get the shower head off the holder. Water pressure was good. The hot breakfast was your normal hotel food, not just a bagel but wasn’t freshly paid for restaurant style food. A good varity selection.

Unexpectedly great stay

Traveling for work and stopped here on a wimb and i have to say it was a pleasant delight. It was up to date design, clean bright lobby. Room was big and roomy. The breakfast bar and sink were useful. Had a microwave and good size frig. The bathroom was big and clean. Shower was a big walk in shower with nice dark tile. And the room had a small balcony which was great to be able to just step out for a smoke. Overall i would recommend if you are in the area. I would choose here over any of the normal competitors off the highway.

The stay was okay. Besides the air conditioning not working, thankfully the highest temperature was 70, I was able to leave the balcony door open with the fan that was given to me by staff.

Great Time at The Garland

Had a great time at The Garland! Friendly staff, homemade cookies and coffee/juices were available on arrival! Very clean throughout the hotel, incredibly large room with balcony, comfortable beds. Hot and delicious breakfast included, with many choices. We loved the biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage, and pancakes! All at an absolutely incredible price. Bonus: Sheetz is nearby with anything else you might want/need. If you want to use the pool, call first to see if it’s open; based on other reviews it usually is not, which we don't mind.

Home away from home

The staff at this hotel is wonderful. They understand the MU students' needs and the rooms, food and vibe are always fantastic. The upgrades did not go unnoticed and kudos to whomever worked the breaksfast buffet.

Best find ever for a hotel and price. Loved the gray modern decor mixed with the stone exterior. Beautiful lobby with a sizable lounge and nice size rooms. Staff were polite and helpful. I will definitely stay there again when passing through Ohio.

Impressed with the Garland

Everything was great. The rooms were large and comfortable. The refrigerator had a small freezer which was great when traveling with ice packs. You don’t find that anymore. It was very clean and the breakfast was very good. The best part was the price. I’ve stayed in chain hotels that wasnt as nice as the Garland and paid twice as much. Will definitely stay again
