Staff was welcoming and upbeat, relaxed and professional at same time! Bfast was 4/5, Bagels were old and dry. Coffee was very good, strong and fresh. Room and amenities exceptional, esp shower. Our roof was on fifth floor, so we could hear the rain pounding down on roof. Loved that👍 The aircon thermostat didn’t seem to work so it had cooled the room to down 62F, by 2:30 am! I had set it at 69 when we got into room! Soo turned it completely off, we could sleep and not shiver😂 Would highly recommend your establishment and we will be back in future😎

The cost was the cheapest in the area for the weekend I booked, which was my incentive for booking. The check in was not the best though. We arrived around 4:30 and we walked in to no one at the counter and no bell or anything to ring. I gave them the benefit of the doubt but it almost turned into 15 minutes of standing there waiting before any worker came back, which was frustrating. Calling the front desk did not even get anyone’s attention. Then the next day, I returned to my room in the evening and neither card would get me in. I had to get them rescanned at the desk by a different employee who informed me the other worker failed to check we booked more then one day, and apparently that had happened more then once already with other guests. No other further issues besides that, however. The room was nice, large and had perfectly comfortable beds. There were many stains on almost all the carpets in the room and the hallway, though which was unpleasant.

Review Draft (Sharper): This is our third stay in 4 months, and the experience continues to decline. The pool has been closed since June with no explanation, the breakfast is consistently cold and unappetizing, and the front desk is almost never staffed or unfriendly. We love tje proximity to Muskingham but we will look at other options for our next 3 visits

The garland is so convenient to stay at along route 70 in Ohio. The hotel is nice looking inside the lobby and our room was very large. The room could use a couch or loveseat to fill the space and make it more comfortable to lounge in the room. The bathroom was a great size but it would be nice to have more than one hook to hang clothes or towels on. My only real complaint about the property or our stay was that the carpeting in the main hallways and elevators are all very stained. The room carpeting was not stained just all the common areas. It appears that it could be housekeeping procedures that are causing all the staining but hopefully a good cleaning on all those hallways and a discussion with staff could improve their condition.

Overall, nice stay.

My King bed room was very roomy. I like that we had a little kitchenette and a nice size fridge. Facing the back, as I requested, was appreciated. The rain shower was nice, thought the attached hand held shower head did not work. The one thing I noticed and let the front desk know twice was that the drawers in the room were not cleaned and hard to tell when it was last cleaned because they were pretty dusty. There was also a strand of long black hair in the one drawer. This was a real turn-off as I had requested to make sure the room was completely cleaned. The breakfast was very good, many options and not the same every day. It was well stocked as well. The hotel was being updated so the carpeting in the halls, stairs, lobby were very stained. I understand this. My friend’s room was one that was not updated yet. She had a hand held shower head that was hung very high that she had a hard time reaching, and didn’t come down low enough to rinse well. Originally, she was going to be on a different floor, perhaps that room was one of the updated ones. But I asked if there was any on my floor and they gave her this one. The ladies at the front desk were very pleasant. The place felt fresh and airy, very open. The one thing people complained about was that the pool was closed. This was still the case when we were there. No explanation why it’s been closed for so long. I took videos, wish I could upload those on here.

10/10. Very clean hotel. Very spacious rooms. Conveniently located off the highway. The only improvement I would suggest is to better their breakfast served. Overall, I would recommend staying there.

The location was right off of the interstate so it was really easy to get to. The decor on the inside is trendy and well done. The pool and hot tub were not open while we were there but that wasn't a deal breaker for us. But if you want a pool you may want to call before you go to see if it is opened. The fitness gym is small but good quality machines. We didn't eat breakfast there so I can't comment on that. The only issue we had was the carpets were very stained all over the hotel. The bed, bathroom and everything else was immaculate so I am not quite sure why they haven't addressed the carpet situation. The shower was fantastic! Best we have ever had in a hotel. We will stay here again. But the carpets need to be cleaned or replaced.
