Family Thanksgiving

The size of the home worked out perfect for our family gathering of about 22 people total. Inside Well equipped with everything needed for cooking our Thanksgiving dinner. Inside the home was great. The outside of the home where we spent the majority of our time was under kept. Spider webs every where, on all the out door furniture . The home had many windows for the view of the river windows were dirty with spider webs on the outside. Patio furniture was torn and moldy . The dock area by the river was dirty and unkept, old leaves tree limbs piled in a corner old swim floats with dirt and mold . All outdoor space could have used a good power wash everywhere

Better than the Pictures

The pictures show a very nice property, but the place is much nicer and more accommodating than what the pictures reveal. We thoroughly enjoyed fishing, swimming, sitting out on the porch, dining, or even lounging with the family in the living room watching the TV. The host communicated well and made the stay more comfortable and easy at checkout.

Family fun on the river and Schlitterbahn

We had 15 people from 3 generations. Plenty of room for everyone, kitchen well stocked, hosts quick to respond and helpful with local attractions. Listing reflected property well. Close to Clear Springs Restaurant and only around 15 min drive to Schlitterbaun, Comal River ride, HEB plus.

Ideal multi-family home in great location

Our family traveled down from Minnesota to be close to other family members in Marion, TX for the Total Solar Eclipse. We absolutely loved the layout and design of the house. We didn’t spend anytime on the water, but it is a great set up for anyone who would enjoy that. There was a bottle of wine from their family label left for us which was delicious. Clean, easy instructions, spacious, close to Greene. Everything we could have wanted!

A Huge Slice of Happiness!

Large group, plenty of space indoors and outdoors. The property is well maintained, yet still in a natural state. Our group was there during a heat wave and burn ban, but that didn't deter us at all. We still spent time outdoors in the evening watching the beautiful sky, and in the river during the day. Kitchen was the main area and held our group. We even had a Private Chef and everything he needed to cook was provided. We can't wait to go back. I would love to answer questions but Jeff is wonderful at it. Book! It! NOW!!!

Best trip ever!!

I could not have imagined a more perfect place to stay for our annual friends reunion trip! Jeff and Jessica have such a stunning property inside and out, the beds were so comfortable, everyone said they slept great every morning and having two washers/dryers was a huge plus too! The property exactly checked all of our boxes for our large group- spacious, on land, right on the water, full amenities, close to Gruene Hall, and not far from Whitewater either! We spent every day just hanging out in the backyard and on the river, we didn't have to worry about driving somewhere to go float. The kitchen was probably the hotspot for late night hangs and game nights, everyone enjoyed themselves. Jeff and Jessica were quick to respond and communicating any last minute needs as well! Thank you so much again and hope we can come again soon!

Perfect spot for a vacation

Large group had a great time - property is as advertised, plenty of spaces to sleep for a group of 18. Air conditioning worked incredibly even on a hot summer day. Would highly recommend this spot.

Great place to celebrate!

The home was beautiful and spacious for our group celebrating a birthday. There is plenty of seating and lounging areas for everyone to spread out. Great views of the river. Well stocked kitchen. Top of line appliances. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Beautiful, peaceful property!

We had a wonderful family vacation on the Guadalupe. Beautiful property and it was so quiet and peaceful during our stay. The home has ample room for guests and the beds are comfy. We all had a great time down by the river fishing, kayaking and hanging out in the water. The cows and donkey next door were a fun extra for our two grandkids. Jeff and Jessica were a pleasure to communicate with and were so helpful with any questions we had. Great hosts!

Perfect New Braunfels house for a large group!

This house is perfect for a large group and the online pictures do not do the house justice! The hosts were VERY quick to respond to any questions and were great with sending updates. We had a group of 19, ages 7 to 50+ and there was plenty of space for all of us to hang out together or spread out into smaller groups. The kitchen had everything we needed and we cooked a lot so used many different pots and pans. The room sizes were great and everyone commented that they were surprised how good they slept on the mattresses since it’s pretty common to sleep on poor quality or very old mattresses in rentals. We had fun hanging out on the back patio and even more fun on the dock. The water past the dock can be deep for some but even the 7 and 8 year olds were swimming using the floats that the owner provided. A few of us caught bass and even some pretty large catfish too. The only negative I can think of is that there were no large trash cans outside by the house. We had a large group and cooked every meal at the house so we had a lot of trash by the end of the day. Luckily we had a truck so we took the trash to the bins by the hwy, as the owners asked, daily so we didn’t have any issues with animals ripping open our trash bags. Overall, a very happy and successful end of summer trip for all. Can’t wait to come again soon.

Excellent vacation home and location!

This is by far one of the best vacation rentals I have booked to date. Location makes you feel secluded yet the listing is a short drive into New Braunfels and surrounding areas. Plenty of rooms and space throughout the property to kickback and relax. The kitchen was big which made it nice for cooking all weekend. Communication with the property owners was easy and they answered every question within a timely manner. You won’t be disappointed with this property! We’ll definitely be back!

Perfect property for the perfect getaway

The pictures do this property absolutely no justice. The house is huge and stunning. Plenty of space for our large crowd. The water at the back of the property was amazing. We spent the weekend celebrating my husbands birthday and it was definitely one for the books. Any questions I had the property owners were very quick to respond. If your looking for a home to accommodate a large group then this property is for you. You will not be disappointed,

Beautiful Home and Property

We had a wonderful time during our stay! The check-in was very easy, communication was wonderful, and the house was gorgeous. My favorite parts of the house are definitely the kitchen and the outdoor seating. We floated the river during the day and relaxed on the patio and dock area in the evenings. We will be going back!

Fabulous Family Retreat!

We celebrated my 65th birthday over the 4th of July weekend and we could not have chosen a more perfect place in a beautiful setting. We had family members ranging from 87 to 1 year and everyone had a bed and bath and privacy! The home is perfect for entertaining and family gatherings. The owners have thought of every detail to make this an enjoyable experience. We laughed, created wonderful memories, swam in the river, fished, kayaked and didn’t leave this location because everything we needed was right there! The owners were highly responsive to any questions we had. I really hate to leave such a wonderful review because I’d like to keep this 5 ⭐️place to myself 🥰. Thank you Jeff & Jessica for providing a beautiful place to create beautiful memories ❤️
