Spacious Home with a Beautiful Lake View

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This lakeview home has amazing lake views. I really enjoyed waking up early each morning and watching the sunrise. The propane firepit was great for making smores and the 2 kayaks, ladder golf and cornhole were enjoyed by all. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. It even had a crockpot for our New Year's Day chili. The only negative I could think of is the water pressure in the main bath shower. Other than that, this place is wonderful and I highly recommend.

Fun lakefront property

The house was roomy and comfortable. Provisions were great. Location was central to everything fun to do in the area. We really enjoyed playing on the lake!

Great Escape on the water

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a great place to stay for my daughter’s graduation from Texas State! We enjoyed our family dinner outside on the deck and really enjoyed the fire pit! It took us awhile to figure out the stove top, but we got it! Beds were comfortable but needed hotter water in the master shower. Being right on the water was nice. The laundry room could use some cleaning but over all experience family had a great time. The front piece of yard was great for our two little dogs. We would stay here again.

Everything we needed

Plenty of space, fenced yard for our dogs, kayaks, fishing, swimming, fire pit all at our fingertips. Drinking coffee on the back porch as the sun comes up then watching the boats on the water. Total relaxation but not far from town to go, do, or get what we needed.

Great Lake Location

We were in town for a wedding and property worked great. We had beautiful weather so had morning coffee on deck that viewed the lake. Had a grill out one evening. Was a great location and lot of fun. We could figure out how to get two of the TVs to work. Couldnt find a signal but we didn’t need so didn’t contact the host. Might want to ask for instructions. It may be we just couldn’t figure it out but the other two TVs worked fine.

Family Fun at Lake Dunlap New Braunfels

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a lovely rental! Very interesting decorations and my son-in-law nicknamed it the Alamo house. The ginormous kitchen and den area were a huge plus. We loved using the kayaks and having direct access to the river was wonderful. The grassed and fenced-in side yard was wonderful when we took our two dachshunds out to handle their business. All of the grandkids loved playing games on the huge lighted back porch at night. The home was very close to many restaurants etc. so a drive anywhere was pretty quick. Thank you for providing a safe place for our family to make lasting memories!

Once you make your way down the steps into the yard you are like 25 ft from the water. Having a relaxing time is easy with such a nice view.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family absolutely loved our stay here. The house was just right for our needs. We loved they had board games and kayaks. The master suite doesn't get as cool as the rest of the home, but they did provide a portable/ oscillating fan. The third bed/bath picture was misleading- they aren't actually together- but we made it work for us. The loft having a half bath was super convenient for all the kiddos. The open living area was enough to not be under each others feet!

Early Christmas 2023

The property fit our family group very well. It is well appointed with everything needed in the kitchen. The TV channel access was a challenge but that may have been user error. The water pressure in the kitchen sink and refrigerator door was really strong and got water all over the person using it but master bathe shower was very slow. Other than those minor issues, we enjoyed the property and recommend it.

Unique stay on a great lake!

The one bathroom for bedroom up front was awkwardly placed away from the room right next to another room but other than that everything was great. It was well equipped and the lake itself is really nice. Loved the patios and great furnishings for party of 10. The courtyard convenient for the pups. I would recommend that they add a separate ice maker to keep up with demand as the one on the fridge was crazy slow. We did wash clothes and the set worked well. I used my own detergent so unsure there. We used a puzzle and that was nice touch.

Nice Home, Poorly Managed

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this home is beautiful and the outdoor space is amazing. The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect for our family of 7 adults and one child. It has a large kitchen that has all the amenities needed.However, we were not pleased with the management company. It started with a text from the company--not Vrbo. I didn't realize that the communication would come from a third party and not Vrbo. The text was confusing and I was suspicious because it had a different address from the property we had booked. The house was not clean. There was a layer of dust and dirt on the dishes-so much so that I needed to run them all in the dishwasher before using them. The floors felt gritty on our feet. We arrived in the afternoon and were excited to use the fire pit while we sat outdoors, but the propane tank was empty. Although being told we might need to refill the tank for the grill, we assumed the fire pit would be ready to use since we paid for the use of the porch and house.The lack of dishwasher pods and garbage bags is laughable. We stayed 4 nights and were given 2 dishwasher pods and 2 garbage bags. We were asked to run the dishwasher before leaving. Please leave enough pods to actually do that.We tried to watch a movie on the "smart TV" using our own signin on the streaming services, but it is limited to one user, so we weren't able to login and watch what we wanted.Finally, the many rules and potential fines posted throughout the house to made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. So, I again say that the house was fine, but we were not happy with the cleanliness, the lack of basic supplies, and the communication from the management company who operates this home.
