This refreshed lovely home had some of it's older charm while being clean, updated, & spacious! Inside is clean with tasteful rustic/industrial decor. They still had the Christmas tree up and lit in the large front windows, which showed out onto the large front porch to the street in a delightful way! The bedrooms all seemed to have new beds, linens, etc., again tasteful in both tones and fabrics. We stayed a weekend in early January, with snow on the way, so we enjoyed the hot tub! My kids loved playing fusball as well! Behind the house is what looks like a brick foundation of some sort, with some of the local Nelsonville bricks in it; the front walk is also lined with a few of these bricks, which I thought was a cool touch. The house is located on a road with either a higher speed limit or people who drive thru fast. There is a good stretch of front yard, tho I was glad that my 3 are past toddler age so I didn't have to worry about them.I believe this is a newer listing for this group, so maybe there are still a couple of kinks being worked out: the front panel of the dryer popped off when we went to put our wet swimsuits in, it did not run, which wasn't a big deal for us as we had time for them to dry. Just a heads up too: no extra amenities are provided (shampoo, soap, coffee, tea, etc.) so be prepared to bring your own. All cookware, plates, coffee pot, toaster, and linens are provided, ample towels, etc.
