Updated living allows you to indulge in all the things you know & love with a fully-equipped kitchen, stainless appliances and separate dining & living areas. Fibre Internet is FREE, secure, dependable and high speed with unlimited connection to the rest of the world. Samsung televisions w/ FREE Netflix & Amazon movies are located in both bedrooms and main living area. The two bedrooms are tucked away from the main living area so guests can escape to a private space when desired. Heated “under blankets” at the foot of each bed adds an extra level of comfort & coziness. A large bathroom hosts a shower/tub combination, lighted mirror w/lots of fresh, hot water & excellent water pressure. One-level living makes it easy for everyone - especially those with physical limitations.

MAIN LIVING AREA:
Large windows FLOOD the interior space with natural sunlight and the vaulted ceilings provide an open, spacious feel. The entire living area frames Gitche Gumee, which always commands (and deserves) full attention. When the sun goes down turn off the lights and count one million stars or search for the Northern Lights - especially on a clear, dark night. Curl up with a warm blanket on the large sectional sofa and watch all the movies you never have time for w/FREE Netflix & Amazon movies. Scour through a large selection of DVD classics and play them on an "old fashioned" DVD player. The gas fireplace adds heat and ambiance simply by using a wall mounted thermostat for instant coziness on a cool evening - or anytime!

THE GREAT OUTDOORS:
Could the outdoor spa/hot tub be the perfect place to enjoy a starlit night showered under the Northern Lights? Well, YES! The spa/hot tub is located just out the front door on the deck overlooking Lake Superior. Could there be a more perfect place for it? Well, NO! Maybe you prefer to wrap up in a woolen blanket beside the outdoor fire table on the front deck during a cool, summer evening or crisp autumn night? Or build a fire in front of the lake and toast marshmallows? Your time, your choice.

Of course we love options so there just happens to be this well lit meandering path from the house leading to an outdoor wood-burning fire pit close to the shoreline...so maybe don’t forget those marshmallows? Here you will also find guest's favorite: THE LOWER DECK, which literally hangs over Lake Superior and provides the most magnificent panoramic views. It could be the perfect place to read that book (yes, THAT book!), practice yoga or meditate in nature's splendor while absorbing vitamin D - the natural way.
