I got upgraded to a veranda. The whole vibe was amazing, from the staff, music and beautiful sea view! Loved it all! Cute classy designs too & clean. Oh and I love all the cats around the place.

This is easiest beachfront property in Naxos and eating breakfast on the patio next to the beach is a marvelous way to start the day. The staff is friendly and extremely and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.

Had a wonderful 4 night visit, could easily have stayed a week, Naxos has lots to do and see. We had a nice clean room, great view, comfortable bed and a delicious breakfast included. Hotel Ippokampos is across from the beach, a short walk to the ferry port where there are lots of restaurants and gift shops. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Great casual atmosphere, older well kept property with a nice outdoor bar and comfy seating areas.

The room was covered in mold. I felt unsafe staying in the room with the doors closed and no airflow, as the smell was overpowering and gave me a headache. The towels and bedding had stains. The property was not as advertised.

The wifi just did not work for our room. their router wasn’t strong enough. the bathroom door handle was broken when we received the room. there were mosquitos in the bathroom

Room was nice, location was on the beach away from busy part of town, yet an easy walk to everything. Staff was helpful and nice. Breakfast and restaurant on the beach was good. We had a slight bit of confusion when checking out, the gentleman at the desk told us we hadn’t paid and said we owed quite a lot. He was nice and the confusion was figured out quickly.

We got an ocean front room, so we saw the sunset every night. We did have to pay $20 to have two comfy beach chairs with an umbrella. The breakfast was included, and it was amazing. The staff was very nice.

We booked this location for our 25th wedding anniversary. However when we got there they said they tried reaching us The room was booked at the same time as someone else and so they put us the on a sister property "apartments" five blocks away from the beach. It was not what we booked. We booked an on beach property And got an apartment overlooking a parking lot. They said they tried to contact us but I never received the messages via Expedia. To accommodate the inconvenience, they gave us two sunbeds for the two days that we were staying. I mentioned that we came late in the afternoon and we're not going to use it the first day and the second day we will be traveling the island so we will not have use for them. I said please credit the amount of the sun beds which were €40 each day, 80 total , to my account since I did not get what I booked. They said "whether you use it or not, this is what we're offering." Then when we asked to use the beach towels she said the beach towels are only for our beach. You can't take them anywhere else. So--- they offered us an apartment five blocks away from the beach, sunbeds that we did not use, (or any type of credit) and when we asked for beach towels they said we can't use them anywhere else except for their Beach. Not the best way to do business.

We had the standard, oceanview room which was a bit basic, but overall this place is incredibly good. Service, food, location on a great beach yet an easy walk into the centre. Highly recommend.
