The room was clean and the balcony view was amazing. The room had everything you would need, hairdryer, hanging space etc. My only slightly negative was the bathroom light was just the overhead mirror light so when you’re in the shower it was a little dark and the bed mattress was on the hard side. But, overall it was a great hotel for the price and location. We would stay again.

5 star location, 1 star everything else. Possibly the worst bedding I’ve ever experienced in my life. Mattress is a literal rock. No excuse when small cosmetic changes can make a big difference. The hotel was right on the waterfront. Dozens of restaurants, bars, shops were within a couple on minutes walking from hotel. The port was 5 minutes away and you were able to catch ferry or tent boats or catamarans there. Staff was wonderful and accommodating. Rooms clean. I would book with them again!

Hotel Coronis – Naxos, Greece If you’re looking for a hotel with an excellent location in the heart of Naxos, Hotel Coronis might seem like an attractive choice. However, unfortunately, it falls short in terms of comfort and service. Pros: • The hotel boasts a prime location, making it easy to access tourist attractions, restaurants, and the beach. This could, in theory, make it a convenient option for those wanting to explore the city without long commutes. Cons: • Service: Unfortunately, the service is very poor, with little attention given to guest comfort or meeting their needs satisfactorily. • Rooms: The rooms were uncomfortable and lacked the cleanliness and quality needed for a pleasant stay. • Furniture & Facilities: The furnishings were extremely poor, making sleeping uncomfortable. Additionally, the overall facilities did not meet the standards required for a comfortable or enjoyable experience. Conclusion: Despite its good location, the poor service and substandard rooms make this hotel an undesirable option for those seeking a comfortable stay in Naxos. If you’re planning to visit the island, it may be best to look for another hotel that offers a higher level of comfort and service.

Coronis hotel review.

I really liked the hotel, with its position on the paralia by the marina. Enjoyed many a time watching all the ferries etc docking in Naxos. The staff were excellent all round, and breakfast was great value at €10. A lift ran between all four floors which was handy. The room was cleaned every day, with clean sheets and towels. However under the bed itself was dirty, and probably hadn’t been swept out for months. Hot water at any of the time of the day to shower with was a bonus. The toilet itself was always clean, but with its size, not suitable for a large adult. Would have fitted better for a teenager at best. Double bed in place was comfortable enough. Now the bad bits. Pigeons roosting on the balcony day and night cooing, and leaving droppings everywhere was a pain. Twice I had to remove one from my room! The biggest problem however was an open air nightclub two doors down, that played very loud music (Swing bar) until 4am every night. Although I did ask for a balcony view, in the end I had to buy some ear plugs. With the wind blowing in the wrong direction, you could actually hear conversations between the clubs guests! I had room 314, but I would suggest if your a light sleeper, or an early to bed kind of person, you avoid that side of the hotel! I so wanted to give it a better review, but after 15 nights there praying for 4am to arrive I just couldn’t!

Quntessentially Greek experience

A really GREEK hotel experience, small, quaint and friendly, well located on the edge of the chora so good for shopping and eating and just a short walk to the beach. We chose this hotel because we had stayed here on a package some 40 years ago and were not disappointed. Staff were super friendly and helpful, HOWEVER it seems that a new bar has recently opened across the road and the owners dont seem to understand the concept of volume controls at 2:30am - such a shame but it didnt trouble us enough to make us register a formal complaint with the hotel.

In the busier part of town so more suitable for a more social crowd probably, for us it was a last minute booking due to charging ferry plans. But hotel was easy to get to clean and well presented and great value.
