I am grateful for the information that they provided in advance, for such things in regards to taxi service/cost etc...made getting to the hotel much less stressful. Also, when I had an issue, they promptly fixed it. Now I must say, as much as this hotel isn't as luxurious as hotels/resorts on the west end(closer to the airport). The room is exactly as it appears. Comes equiped with more kitchen appliances than other hotels. Bed was comfortable. Having access to a washer/dryer in the room was also helpful. I highly recommend that you stay here instead if you want to actually mingle with the people and be closer to the downtown core and at a much better rate than the resorts. I found the location to be rather quiet but easily accessible to a gas station, restaurant and coffee shop just a short walk away. I am a single woman, traveling alone and everyone was extremely kind to me, very friendly. I felt very safe. Being able to purchase breakfast coupons at the hotel next door, made the first meal of the day easy. If you want a pool day and a free cocktail night, you are free to join from Sandelwood to the Colony Hotel as well.
