We stayed 4 nights, nice neighborhood, close to many things. The furniture was adequate. The master bed was comfortable. Living room furniture so so.
We were not aware this unit was on the second floor, for a couple retired folks with back problems this was a challenge. It’s an old house so the stairs are steep and quite narrow. Also poorly lit, especially the back stairs. The tile floor tiles are uneven, a trip hazard for those with mobility issues. The bathtub shower was downright unsafe. The glass door unit was pretty much falling apart, not attached to walls and the doors were off the tracks. I did not feel safe using it, so I didn’t. This is the biggest issue that should be addressed immediately. The hot and cold water in the bathroom sink sink are switched, not such a big deal once you realize it, but also it’s an easy fix. The bathroom towels were very lovely, there was one dish towel. When we asked for a few more one was dropped off. One ice cube tray isn’t enough. The step down into the eating nook is easy to miss. Should have better marking on it. The kitchen is tiny, but for the most part that’s not a big deal. There is parking but it’s tricky and hard to find the first time, especially in the dark.balcony was a nice treat.
It’s a charming old house in a quaint neighborhood. With some simple repairs and upgrades it could be be very lovely. Not sure if we would stay again unless the repairs were made. Brianna was helpful and easy to work with. VRBO not so much.
