This was a cute updated room in a historical building. Lots of stairs but that is clearly stated. Genaro was great and brought both our suitcases up the stairs. He booked us a taxi for our 6 am return on the second day. I would book again.

B&B in posizione strategica

Struttura situata in pieno centro a Napoli, in posizione strategica per raggiungere a piedi gran parte dei punti di interesse. Situata al secondo piano di un palazzo storico, in una zona silenziosa. Camera sufficientemente spaziosa, arredo minimale ma sufficiente, bagno ampio, doccia enorme, unico piccolo appunto, forse il bagno necessiterebbe di una leggera manutenzione. Colazione non in loco, ma presso un bar convenzionato distante pochi metri, cappuccino e pasta (ottima e abbondante) più che sufficiente per iniziare la giornata fra le vie di Napoli, dove le possibilità di integrare la colazione non mancheranno. Di sicuro dovessimo tornare a Napoli alloggeremo di nuovo qui.

Recommended option in historic centre of Naples

This small property is right in the historic centre of Naples, yet tucked away in a side street so not too noisy. Room 1 which I stayed in is quite small, but this is reflected in the description and price. Crucially, it is clean and the room had been refurbished. Breakfast is at a bar just around the corner. It was the best coffee and croissant I had on my entire 2 week trip, and the welcome there was exceptional. The owner of the Inn helped me with my luggage, but if you have mobility issues it might not be suitable for you, as it's on an upper floor. Otherwise, this is highly recommended.

B&B in posizione strategica

Ottimo b&b con colazione presso un bar a pochi passi. Gennaro ci ha dato un ottima accoglienza consigliato su varie visite. Camere pulite, confortevoli con anche possibilità di farsi un tè. Inn al secondo piano (senza lift) di un tipico edificio in un vicolo del centro storico all'incrocio con Spaccanapoli da cui si raggiungono varie attrazioni anche con la Metro che dista a ca. 5-10 min a piedi. Ci tornerei sicuramente la prossima volta a Napoli.

This is a lovely place to stay. Its location is fantastic and the owners are the absolute best! The stairs are a bit of a hike but it’s a historic building and worth it for such a fantastic stay. Couldn’t recommend it more!

Very nice hotel

The room was very good and the staff were very helpful. I enjoyed the breakfast in the cafe along the street, the fresh orange juice was excellent. An excellent place to stay in Napoli.

Charming!!!!!!! So so quaint, ambiance a perfect 10. Incredibly cute, updated , clean room. Staff very welcoming. I LOVED this hotel. Breakfast a couple doors down was just as nice…coffee/pastries in a cute outdoor, roadside setting. Noise blocking windows when closed, lots of fresh air when open in our room. One small complaint was not enough bed pillows… I say this about every hotel and travel with blow up pillows for extra oomph to be fair. Nice hotel Santa Chiara Inn!!! Thank you for a wonderful night in Napoli!!!

Modern and renovated room that is immediately walkable to great sites in Napoli. Roughly 10 minutes from nearby metro. Bedding could be a tad more comfortable and need to climb a few floors with luggage to check-in. But so long as those aren’t deal-breakers I would recommend and definitely stay again. Walk-in waterfall shower is the star of the room.

Very clean and modern inn

Inn was very clean and modern with an amazing bathroom. Warning that there is no elevator and the inn is up 4 or 5 flights of stairs. The manager was happy to take our luggage up for us when we arrived though.

Great stay in Naples so start off our Italy trip!

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Santa Chiara Inn for 3 nights, our first stop on our Italy trip. We had advised the property ahead of time around what time we would arrive and as instructed, someone was there to greet us for check in. Keep in mind, the tourist tax of 3 euros per person, per night, must be paid cash. The only downfall from this property is that there is no elevator and we knew this ahead of time, and were OK with it. But keep in mind in case you are not fine with no elevator and climbing 3 flights of stairs at 30+ degrees. Our experience from beginning to end was fabulous! The room was very comfortable and clean. We got great nights of sleep. Best part, you are so centrally located to everything. Shops, restaurants, the port, the train station!! We walked absolutely everywhere and found great gems, no tourist traps. Breakfast included was on the same street, you could order the coffee you want and pastry. They were decent but not amazing. However I must admit not being able to find any great homemade pastries in Naples. Seems like the same provider goes everywhere. We would definitely recommend staying here and would definitely go back if we were coming through Naples :)

Really good area with a super easy access to a variety of places to visit, loads of food and drink options on your doorstep and super friendly and helpful chap at the reception! I highly recommend the property and will certainly return to Naples!
