Pukha Nanfa is a beautiful small hotel decorated in local style. I saw from the reviews that they offered a pick up service. I sent a message via the Expedia App only a short time before arrival and was amazed they could action it so quickly and collect us from Nan station in a lovely clean minibus. Our room was beautiful and we loved all the pictures and decorations in the various seating areas. Sadly due to the holiday season we could only stay one night. However next morning after a delicious breakfast they helped us make a train booking, took us to 2 temples and the museum, recommended a great tom yum noodle shop and dropped us at another hotel. Stellar service. It is sad that more western tourists don't come to Nan. It is so friendly. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel

This was our favorite hotel stay in Thailand. The staff was friendly and helpful. The common areas in the hotel are beautiful and comfortable - historical wood that is in excellent shape. The breakfast is generous and delicious. We loved having the markets within short walking distance. The loaner bikes are great. We took them all over town.

Great stay in Nan

From the moment we stepped through the front door, the experience at this property was wonderful. The staff is very attentive and concerned about every little detail to make our stay as nice as possible. When it became clear that our plans to drive through the countryside was going to lead to navigational challenges, the hotel provided a wonderful driver and van to whisk us around. The hotel itself a wooden structure built years ago and completely renovated by it's new( ish) owners. It is very charming, especially the guest library. Since it is on the busy street in town, a little more white noise inside the rooms would help drown out what little street noise we did hear. The only thing keeping this from being a completely five star hotel are the occasional insect that we saw sneaking around the property. This was the perfect place to center our visit to Nan province

Very Nice Tiny Room.

A beautiful wood hotel with a good location and very helpful staff.Unfortunately my room was very small for the price I paid and had many ants on the computer desk which is not uncommon.If the room had been larger I would have been satisfied but this made it into a "not a good value for money"place. Another thing I noticed was that the building had no sprinkler system,as a retired firefighter this concerned me enough to explore the fire exits and make darn sure I knew how to get out in case of fire,I would urge the owner to explore the possibility of installing a sprinkler system in this beautiful building.

Maybe we had too high expectations for this hotel.

The receptionist did not know what she was doing. We reserved and paid for 2 rooms in advanced but when we arrived, the receptionist insisted that we had only one. Even when we showed her the Expedia itinerary number, she still insisted on one room. There were 5 of us, how can we stay in one room? The day before our arrival, someone from the hotel called for confirmation of 2 rooms with 1 room with extra bed. After showing her Expedia confirmation email, she gave us another room (with hesitation).
