Great value for money - affordably priced, location within easy walking distance to JR Nagasaki Station, clean, comfortable and functional room, and there were also so many other additional perks: free ramen from 9.30pm to 11pm every night, free ice lollies/ probiotic drinks daily, free massage chairs for guest use. And a 7-11 is attached directly to the hotel too. Recommended!

Friendly, helpful staff levels above a US hotel, particularly a budget one. Onsen, laundry, good breakfast. What’s not to like? Rooms are large enough to walk around the bed and have a small entry way. Parking 1200 yen/night. Breakfast 2500 yen which is expensive but you can get food from the connected 7/11 for much less if you like.

Dormy Nagasaki

Excellent hotel near to the tram lines and centrally situated. Do opt for the buffet breakfast as you won’t need lunch. Great onsen on top floor. Lots of extra thrown in too. Excellent stay.
