Staff and amenities were the highlight but nothing special was done as requested for our honeymoon. The small details really do matter. The food was below average. Healthy options were very minimal and when they were available it wasn’t as described. They also wouldn’t let us reheat our leftovers which I understand is food safety but we paid for it at your hotel so having microwaves for more family friendly amenities would impact the amount of people who stay. We paid a lot to be there so having good food is a must. The food was very disappointing especially considering how much you pay for it. We appreciate the staff and all their hard work. I’d suggest they make family friendly rooms for guests travelling with children.

The resort is quite new and the rooms are nice. Check in was quick and friendly. Many pools to choose from but none were “adult only”. The spa was disappointing, I booked a deluxe pedicure and when I arrived I had to sit in a chair at the reception area and the therapist sat on the floor. I’m afraid she didn’t do a be try his job of the polish either. I ordered room service, the fries were almost cold and the club sandwich had slices of bread so thick that I barely ate any of it. I was told to leave the tray outside my door and they would collect it but it was still there 12 hours later when I went to check out.

Buffet breakfast was beautiful and the pool was stunning. The rest of the food across the resort was mediocre and expense of for what it was. The only exception were the pizzas and bottega restaurant.

Rooms were old, needed renovation, breakfast was boring almost same thing everyday, food in urban sugar was pathetic not worth the price. Hotel is charging $2000 as hold on credit card rather than $100 as mentioned on Expedia booking. Very hiped and not worth the price. Ranked as similar or close to Sheraton or Sofitel but looks and feels same as other lower grade hotel like mercure. Explained the stay was to celebrate a birthday, they promised upon arrival something will be done but nothing was done not even singing or wishing happy birthday in the buffet breakfast restaurant which we saw other birthdays celebrated. Very disapointing.

The check in process was pretty long but the staff that checked me in was very nice. The room was not properly cleaned, and the check out process was terrible! We called for assistance with our bags & waited in the room for 35 minutes & NO ONE SHOWED UP! We had to go down THREE flights with all of our bags & walk all the way to the front desk where the staff was just sitting here talking amongst eachother. No one offered to help. Ridiculous service. Drinks are disgusting & overpriced. Breakfast lacked flavor.
