Disappointed Stay After Long Journey – Would Not Recommend
After a long flight from the U.S., we were exhausted and expected a smooth check-in. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to get into our room for over 5 hours despite multiple requests. Things only got worse from there.
• Fire alarms went off twice at 12:30 AM while we were sleeping, which was extremely disruptive.
• The spa experience was disappointing — both my wife’s and my massage attendants were coughing throughout, which made it uncomfortable and concerning from a hygiene perspective.
• We went to the kids club at 6 PM for hair braiding as scheduled, but no one showed up — leaving the kids very disappointed.
• My daughter needed a bandaid, and the hotel had none available, which is basic first aid.
• I ordered one drink, but we were charged for four — thankfully, they acknowledged the error.
• Several outlets in the room didn’t work, which made it hard to charge devices or use appliances.
We only stayed for two nights, but that was more than enough. While the staff was polite and the location is nice, the overall service and attention to detail were far below what you’d expect from a Crowne Plaza. Would not stay here again.
