Great Place

I liked it because it was convenient for where I needed to be. It was very quiet. The only suggestion I would have is to put some handrails in the showers for the elderly people but other than that, it was great.

RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN!

The entire experience was a nightmare that seemed to never end. I should have known better but my budget was tight and I thought to myself..."how bad can it be...after all it's a Wyndham hotel ?" It was worse than I could imagine. I was in town to take care of some business. I prepaid for 4 nights but trusted the Wyndham brand. The first night I was exhausted & just wanted to shower and go to bed. I found the room to be dirty and well below my standards. The sheets were suspect and bedspread had a cigarette burn. The floor was slippery as if I were a fast food employee working in the kitchen. The shower had definitely seen better days. My first instinct was to call the front desk and make my complaint known. Lo and behold, the phone in the room wasn't plugged up and the cord was frayed. This meant I had to walk down to the office. The person at the front desk offered to move me to another room. At that moment I was just too tired to gather my belongings and move to another room. Besides, I didn't want to be disappointed even further. By the grace of God, I managed to stay in that room the first night...needless to say, I didn't sleep under the covers. Day 2 - Guess what? Some of the same issues were present in the 2nd room. Now I also have to contend with a squeaky bed. Fortunately, day 3 & 4, I had to be up early and didn't return to the "hell hole" until late night. My future hotel stays will never include LaQuinta or Wyndham. (I'm better off sleeping in my truck!)
