The sheets and blankets were wrinkled. Very poor quality blankets/comforters. The textured gave me allergies. Bed skirt was torn some places. Balcony chairs are good, but there should be at least one chair inside. Ocean front rooms especially people like me rent, so that we can sit in the balcony and enjoy the view and hear the shores, but your room AC outlet is right there, so instead of breeze we get the heat from the AC machine and instead of shores soothing sound we hear the mechanical sound from the AC machine. Quite disappointed. Tried to order from the elevator door advertisement, that was another disaster. I couldn’t reach them at all. Pool is great, Beach access and Ammusement park access is good, excellent staff. In short. Great staff, great location, but very low grade amenities.

My daughter and I recently stayed at this resort and overall had a pleasant time. It's a very kid-friendly place with 3 different pool choices. The staff was friendly and helpful.

It was very clean and bright but the thing we didn’t like was there was not enough breakfast options. Nothing healthy in the market place. No nuts, fresh fruit or bagels ,doughnut's etc. Only one restaurant to choose from. No chairs in the room or table to sit and watch Tv. Had to sit on the bed. Not a lot of counter space in the bathroom. Staff was very friendly.

Fantastic accommodation…some small things could be better…store/shop needs to be open until 8-9pm, not 6pm. During an 8-day stay, shouldn’t have to pay $40 for my bed linens to be changed out once. The music playing at all pools is inappropriate for families…other than these small adjustments, it was a very good stay!!

West gate caters to Timeshare customers. Front office staff continues to tell us if we need anything please dial 0 from your room phone. There’s no pool staff. I went to front office to ask for towels. They reminded me that they put towels in each room. So in order to go to the pool you must get the ones from your room or dial 0 from your room phone to request more. While seating at the pool you see couples after couples touring for Timeshare. You feel like an animal on display for them to see how our money pays for their property.

The Westgate Myrtle Beach hotel was amazing. The pools were clean and warm. My daughter and I loved how the hotel was on the beach. The food was great. The service for the food was quick and the waiters were nice. It is such a safe, clean, and very pretty place. When we were coming back from a restaurant we saw this magician who was very energetic and was so entertaining, I was entertained myself and I am an adult. I would definitely come back again

Property was decent. Only one hot tub for the entire resort was always full at night. Five dollars for a Gatorade in the vending vending machines is stupid and $17 for a small bottle of Advil is just plain theft.
