"PAUSE AT THE PIER" is a NON-SMOKING HOME.
Dogs (2 maximum) are Welcome with prior approval.
This is a new home, with 2 KING Bedrooms, 1 Bunk room and 2- 1/2 Baths.
House linens included. (Bed sheets, towels, washcloths).
(Beach towels are NOT provided)

Vacation in luxury in this Newly built, beautiful home with Ocean views from the covered deck, and walk less than 400 feet to direct beach access.
The Garden City Pier, Arcades, Family entertainment, Shopping, and Dining are all just steps away from the home, one block away.
The home features Granite counter tops in the fully equipped Kitchen, plenty of cabinet space for your grocery supplies, and a commercial ice machine for your vacation beverages. There is seating for up to 11 people at the open dining area and counter-height bar. The living area will seat all your guests, and features a 55 inch HD TV, Blu-ray player, Blue-Tooth Sony Stereo system, and High speed internet service throughout the home. All three bedrooms have 32 inch Flat screen TV's, and large closets/storage space for all your vacation needs. There are Granite counter tops in all three Bathrooms, and storage in each vanity. One Master bedroom features a luxury walk-in shower. The other Master Bedroom and the bunk room share a Full Bathroom with tub/shower. Both king size bedrooms have remote controlled ceiling fans and lighting. The fully equipped laundry room includes full size washer/dryer, storage for your supplies, Iron, Ironing board, and Drying rack. The Pool is directly across from the home on a private drive. This home is one of thirteen in a private development, with a private pool for owners and their guests only. The ottomans in the living room fold out to provide sleeping space for two more children. Luxury floors throughout the home, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and a fully equipped kitchen, (including an automatic fresh ice machine) will lend a "resort" feel to your vacation. The lockable storage below the home has beach chairs, pool and beach toys, body boards, and a Weber gas grill for your use. The covered deck will provide a great perch to people watch as you relax with your favorite beverage. Private parking below house will accommodate 3 standard vehicles. There is an outside shower for your use to rinse the sand from your toes as you return from the beach. The KEYLESS ENTRY door eliminates the need to carry keys with you as you travel to the beach and pool. This is a NON SMOKING HOME. No smoking is permitted in the home, or on the deck. We really enjoyed our stay at Pause at the Pier. The house was very clean, close to the beach, and a few steps from the pool. The house also comes stocked with all the essentials you need to take down to the beach. Thomas was a great host, and communicated extremely well with us. I’d highly recommend this property to those looking for a place to stay at the beach.

Sweet spot near the pier

It is a very nice and clean house. It's located near places to eat, rentals, bars, groceries, surf shops and a pier. The beds were really nice and comfortable. The living room had a spacious couch and big TV. The owner was super nice and easy to get a hold of. The beach is right across the street with white sand. Super place that I would recommend to anyone.

Hurricane getaway

A perfect spot for a weekend getaway, even with the effects of Hurricane Helene. The house is comfortable and my adult kids and I enjoyed quality time together in the area. It was nice not to have to pack all of our beach gear and use what was available at the house.

1st Time in SC - Great Stay

This was our first time in SC, and we enjoyed it tremendously. Our stay was great, the food in SC is fantastic, and there was plenty to do. We chose this location to stay out because we were able to bring our two dogs. Our host Thomas met us when we arrived, showed us around, and gave us a lot of great tips on how to enjoy the week. We would definitely stay again and I highly recommend - A++ for cleanliness, hospitality, and all the in-home amenities you could ask for. Great stay!

This is a lovely, clean beach house right in the center of town. It is only one block from the beach. Mr. Wenneman was extremely considerate and responded to any questions promptly. The shared pooled is very well maintained and was great for my youngest child. If there is anything negative to say, it would only be that the beach was extremely crowded. It is right in the center of town and some of the teens of Friday and Saturday night were a bit loud and obnoxious-but you can get that anywhere. All in all, we were very pleased and completely enjoyed our stay and all the restaurants the owner suggested to us. We would come back again!

Beautiful home, Perfect location!

If this home is available for your dates of travel, stop looking and BOOK IT! The home is beautiful and thoughtfully decorated, perfectly stocked with all you need, very comfortable beds, and just one block from the pier and beach. We loved people watching from the deck, enjoyed the beach at day and walking the pier at night listening to bands. Kids loved fishing from pier all hours of the day. Thomas was a pleasure to work with. Wonderful!

Vacation Perfection!

Thomas offers a great vacation experience! I’ve stayed in a lot of beach homes and this is the best stocked one I’ve ever stayed in. It was nice not to have to run out every day for odds and ends! The home is beautiful, clean, and just steps to the beach! Location is great too within walking distance to the pier, mini grocery, diner, and ice cream! Book it! You won’t be disappointed ! I’ll be coming back to this one myself.

All the Comforts of Home

The CLEANEST place I have stayed

This was the absolute cleanest place I have ever stayed in at the beach or anywhere for that matter. The location is fantastic, so close to everything. There are convenient labels on the light switches and throughout the home. The bed in the master is super comfy. The house is very pet friendly 😁. Thomas was amazing! So warm and friendly and super helpful!!!! We definitely enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay here again!!
