The property was pet friendly. However you get what you pay for. The property didn't look like the picture. The rooms recked of cigarettes smoke. Although the place didn't look appealing, the rooms in the inside were cozy and simple. The beds were firm and very comfortable to sleep on. Overall a peaceful stay.

I loved how close it was to the event I was attending. The rooms were updated (vinyl flooring), clean and in decent condition for an older property. I know previous reviews were not good, but since new management took over, it's much nicer.

We stayed here for one night. It was very convenient to Chowan University. We had everything we needed and we could tell that there were upgrades made but it is still very old and needs more updating. The beds were extremely hard and noisy when you would move. The walls are thin and it was rather noisy when people were outside the room or walking around upstairs. It was overall clean and there was a microwave and a fridge. I think the stay could have been more comfortable if the beds were a bit softer and less noisy. It was adequate for our needs but definitely could be improved.

I tried to cancel my reservations online but couldn’t. Poor place to stay , room smelled a lot . I did not stay and returned my key after checking in and kept driving! There were no other place to stay in that town. Overall it is not good town to stay overnight.
