Location is far away from the Old Town, despite the subway is nearby. There are not many restaurants nearby and the groceries store has basic items only. We didn’t like the bed on the floor and the soft pillows. We did like the wash machine in the room, it was very useful.

Excellent stay! (Please add shower curtains!)

We love the Wunderlocke! This is our second stay, in apartments with a different layout than last time, and we were perfectly comfortable and pleased with the accommodations. As I've mentioned before in my last review, the only area of improvement - - and it's small but important - - is that they add shower curtains. The bathrooms are modern and adequately equipped, but the shower is wide open and the entire bathroom floods, no matter how careful you are about angling the shower head.

Loved the atmosphere and decor of this hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful even when we asked what seemed to be dumb questions (ie need keycard to turn on lights in the room - first for us). Breakfast was delicious every day!

The hotel is designed as a place for long-term stay. The kitchen was decently equipped and had an in-room washer/dryer. The space was tight for us but the kids enjoyed the loft bed. The hotel is located a little far from the city and will require some walking to get to the closest metro station. We liked everything about the hotel and the area though. The biggest downside of staying here was that there was no parking, not even for a fee. On day one, I had to park 1.5kms away from the hotel but I had better luck on day 2 and 3.

The pool is very small and always crowded; impossible to take advantage of it. The hotel seems to be a good deal for families with children. Staff was really helpful, sweet and sensitive. We appreciate very much their friendliness.

This is a wonderful hotel, very family friendly, has all the amenities you will need for a comfortable stay. The service was friendly and responsive to all of our needs. I like that in the reception area in the evenings, families would play games in the lounge.

Great staff BUT Roof and restaurant/bar are shut.

The staff were amazing. In particular a lady at the front desk (who's name I didn't get, sorry!). Really helped us navigate public transport and the city rather than paying the extraordinary taxi fares. Unfortunately, there was no bar/restaurant and the roof top area was closed with no facilities. These were the main attractions in booking and this was only explained on arrival. There aren't many restaurants, bars nearby and so you have to make a trip into the centre. The hotel was very clean. But we had to turn off the a/c as it was too noisy and made loud sporadic clanking noises. Likely would rate this hotel higher if all bar/roof etc had been open or the fact that it was shut had been explained at the time of booking. Lovely greek cafe if you turn right outside the hotel and head to the train station, on the corner. Home made pastries and food and amazing coffee. Really reasonable.

The room is well laid out and gives a feeling of space and privacy. The kitchenette is fully stocked and a definite plus. The hotel is close to a grocery store and the metro/bus station.
