Very pleasant experience staying at Urbanpod. The property is super suitable for singles and couples who are mostly going to use the place to rest or sleep at night. It is value for money given that its clean, has adequate communal bathrooms with hot and cold water, lockers, friendly staff and a casual cafe. What I liked the most was the noise free accommodation. Those with hyperactive and noisy kids should best avoid the property as there isn't a lot to do for kids within the property. The central air-conditioning is on a single loop with the cafe on it. This was causing the smell of the food from the cafe spilling into the accommodation area through the air-conditioning. This to me is an area of improvement. Overall, I am mighty pleased to have discovered Urbanpod and will mostly certainly stay there again.

Not a good hotel

Bed wasn't cozy enough moreover quite noisy. No proper room which gives a feel that someone there above u. No privacy. Doors are not in your control.

Convenient Women’s Capsule.

The “ladies only” section is quite small, and it seemed not many women stayed there. A lot of businessmen are there. None of the women or men were foreigners, so I got a lot of looks. Breakfast was tasty! The door to the pod locks somewhat (enough to keep honest people out) but there are lockers as well as a small safe. Very clean bedding, and bathroom.

Super noisy 24h construction site next door - possibly tolerable except the window would not shut. Even with earplugs I could not sleep. Staff slow.

This is a well run pod experience. Many attendants on hand keeping things clean. The restaurant is surprisingly good and the free breakfast buffet is outstanding for this low price. I have paid more for just breakfast than the total cost of staying here plus breakfast. Pods are comfy and well maintained.

Building under construction

Building is under construction and on top of that next to the building day and night City construction project is on I could not sleep in night due to so much of noice of trucks, iron channel hammering,cement mixer all night was running they never mention on booking in fact they ask me for deposit to stay I pay them partial payment cash for my all nights stay when they have my card saved on expedia account . when I went to reception at around 6am to complaint and asking checkout he refuse saying checkout time is 11 am no refund in fact they will charge me for next night as well because it was a short notice and asking me to call expedia in the U.K. as I had book from them so they need to deal with this but due to time difference can not get hold that day . I just left the hotel frustrated and helpless losing my deposit never again . later got hold of expidia were sorry for this trying to defuse and recivied an apologize email after 15 day when I was back home.

Well maintained and very clean

I've been to other capsule hotels but this one beats all of them hands down because of its sheer cleanliness and sparkling infrastructure. The maintenance of the property here is top-notch, which is the reason I keep coming back.

We stayed here one night while waiting for a flight the next day. We booked it because we thought it was close to the airport. It is not too far away, but in moderate traffic it took more than half-an-hour to get to the hotel by taxi. During the day there was a lot of street noise, but at night we were really surprised how quite and restful it was.

Best hotel in Mumbai

This hotel has just been built so is very new and in excellent condition! It is very comfortable and for what you pay you will really enjoy your stay and appreciate the service you receive from friendly staff. The free breakfast is lovely too.

Mixed Experience

I will break down my review into two parts: The physical facilities (pod, bathroom, dining area etc.) and the staff. The physical facilities: 1) The hotel is ultra modern and one needs an access card to enter the hotel. 2) The reception area is simple and has a shoe locker area next to it. Footwear have to be kept in the locker before entering going further. 3) The pod is ultra modern and is very functional. The mattress is good enough for a 6-feet person like me to sleep comfortably. 4) The locker next to the pod is good enough to fit luggage worth 5 days. Any more than that and you are better off booking the private pod which has space to keep luggage within the room. 5) The bathrooms are super clean. After each use, the cleaning staff cleans the bathroom. They have separate toilets too. 6) The dining area is given to a restaurant called Sayes. Good selection of food and good service. The staff: 1) Majority of the staff is junior level and not well trained. 2) Senior staff is present but clueless about many things (they apologised for the same). 3) One of the staff opened my pod on the first morning and said he was "checking" if its occupied or not. 4) Card machine didn't work for 2-3 days and ended up being a 30 minute circus due to inefficiency of staff. 5) Staff ended up checking me in for 1 day instead of 3. This lead to my access card getting blocked. They took time to sort it out. Basically, they need better, well trained staff.

good concept

The hotel is designed excellently with the idea of less space and more comfort, nevertheless there are pods for couples as well. Interior of the pods have all basic facilities with comfortable technology. One can peacefully sleep inside the pod on a high quality bed. Common showers are also clean and well fitted. Hope you guys will continue the same quality in the future as well and we will always encourage you. At last let me point out one thing, in my view reception area should be more attractive and clean just like the pods are.
