Very tasty breakfast with many options. Views of the Mekong from our 5th floor balcony was spectacular! With an eastern exposure one could watch the sunrise every morning. Nicely kept walking path along the river with many eating options along with the market just minutes away! Staff was especially helpful with our needs. Loved the pool as well!

No hot water for shower. TV had very few and no English channels. Staff pleasant but only one spoke any English. Room clean and modern. Good parking. Breakfast included was adequate. Dining room small but clean. Not sure why there was no hot water but it was why a rated hotel 2 not 4.

Everything was excellent, staff and services. Unfortunately next door had a rooster who continually crowed throughout the night. Echoing through the room in close proximity Eg; my room hence broken sleep. Apart from that all was excellent.

Beautiful hotel. We stayed 3 nights in corner premium room. Fantastic room with wonderful view overlooking the Mekong River and Laos. Our room was huge and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent for Thais but also for farang (westerner) like me. Easy walk along paved river footpath to big street markets. The hotel has good off street parking. Would stay again.

Bathrooms need some attention!

Hotel is good and in a good location, but bathroom designs and conditions could use some improvement or at least better maintenance. For instance, in Room 606 the water leaks out of the shower because there’s no dam to block it and not enough slope to drain it fast enough. In addition, the fixture that holds the hand-held shower head came off the wall. Sink faucet is very difficult to control. TV remote control difficult to manage.

Some opportunities for improvement…

This was the 3rd or 4th time we stayed at Hotel de Ladda. It’s probably still the best hotel in Mukdahan, but certain things begin to show age. The beds are very comfortable and large (wider than a California King size), but the plumbing in the bathroom is not too well maintained. For instance, shower head fixtures are loose, sink has no hot water. Also, breakfast could be improved by having more fruit choices instead of just water melon. Some pineapple would be extremely welcome by most guests, I’m sure!
